For the most part the hotel was good. Our room was much smaller than we expected, but it was fine for what we needed. Our room was clean with the exception of the shower floor was dirty. I turned the shower on and whatever was on the floor rinsed away. My main complaint was the pool. It did have 2 pools like they said. The reason I chose this hotel was because of the pool on the website. It had the built in loungers in the pool. I was looking forward to relaxing in one at the pool. Well, that pool doesn’t exist. It appears to be an ai picture that they put up. I feel that’s very deceptive and I don’t understand why they would do that.

The location was great-close to beach and restaurants. Parking could be difficult so we tried to walk everywhere. The room was dirty when we checked in and there was only one staff person for check-in time. Housekeeping was much better after our first day. I would recommend getting a top floor room because we heard everything from the room above us. I requested one and wasn’t given one. Room is small for four adults.

Small room
Hotel has been renovated. King size bed was too big for room. There was only six inches between the air conditioner and the right side of the bed. There was about 2’ between wall and the bottom of the bed. No room for a chair so you had to sit on bed. All three days we stayed there the morning danish was a chocolate chip muffin. Rooms were clean and there was hot coffee and tea available all day.

Overall, a great place to stay if you’re wanting to be close to boardwalk and the beach. The pools were great, rooms were good. Parking was a little annoying as spots are limited and very close together. Our fridge didn’t really work or get cold, but again, we weren’t in the room too much, so it was a good choice for the stay.

Great location! Staff was friendly. Overall, the place just wasn’t clean. The floors in the hallway and our room appeared dirty. But I also think they were stained and outdated. We put towels down in the bathroom because we didn’t want to step on the floor in our bare feet. We wore shoes/socks in our room. The bed was uncomfortable. There was just clump of hair in the hallway that was there the whole three days we were there, which is disgusting. The walls were thin, so we heard people walking in the hall and conversations in the room next to us. The hotel didn’t really match the pictures on the website. There was no outdoor games. The pools appeared nice but we didn’t use them. Location was perfect though but I still wouldn’t stay again.

The staff is very friendly & accommodating and the lobby area, outside area and convenience to the boardwalk are all positive elements of this location. However, the room itself needs work. There are no drawers to place clothes in, just a small hanging area with 3 hangers. No iron was provided. The mini-fridge wasn’t cold. The floors were filthy and we had to wait for our room to be cleaned so we expected them to be clean at least right after the room was “supposedly” cleaned. My son instantly took his shoes off & his socks were black on the bottom from dirt. The WiFi didn’t work in our room at all so we had to use our personal hotspots. You have to pay for parking & the spots are extremely tight. The shower curtain was molded so we had to wash up at the sink. There is no tub and the bathroom sink was very tiny so there was nowhere for us to wash up our baby properly. It was truly a challenge. We stayed here because the reviews were good but clearly we didn’t have the same experience. I’ll again say though that the true pluses to this property are its close location to the boardwalk (2 blocks away) & other great amenities (restaurants, bike shops) & the friendly, accommodating staff. However, my family & I will not be staying there again.

First off, the price they charded for a postage stamp is exorbitant. Next, the argument with the manager about this "hotel king" scam was another thing. He refused to admit the scam, the fact that you people list "KING SIZED BED" rooms as king sized beds, which in fact THEY ARE NOT. They are "hotel king" beds which are far smaller. Next, the bed was the worst I have tried to sleep in in ky entire life. Hard and as uncomfortable as anything I've ever experienced. Next, the floors were DIRTY. Stains all over the place, really nasty. Water pressure was non-existent, and that was at all times of the day, no claims of shared water pressure or anything of the sort are valid, it was basically dripping out of the shower head. Which was a rain-style head mounted at such an angle as to be totally non-effective. Worst hotel experience in a long time, and mostly because Wyndham lent their name to it... so the expectations were medium-to-high... those expectations were absolutely negated by poor management and maintenance and basic quality of the room. I want my Wyndham Rewards membership cancelled, my information erased from your records because I will NEVER intentionally stay at a Wyndham property again. I am disgusted and left feeling ripped off.

The property is very clean but we were given a first floor room closest to the front desk, ice machine and stairs. It was very loud and did not feel private at all. Upon checkout no one asked how our stay was.

Nothing like what was pictured! Our room and bathroom was tiny and unfinished. As soon as I walked in I almost slipped because the floor was so oily and the bathroom floor was dirty. I asked to change rooms to something like I see on the website and they said they can upgrade me for an additional charge per night. Just wanted what I thought I was paying for. Pools are not as pictured on site and no outdoor games as pictured were available.

The exterior is freshly painted. The exterior yellow chairs have huge scan stickers on the front like they were just purchased from the IKEA clearance section. Areas of the hotel like the staircase (no elevator) could use sweeping and mopping. Visible dust bunnies, shoe scuffs, and crumbs on each stair thread. The lobby and hall felt like walking through a pool room. The room was clean and the bed was very comfy. Great location, a short walk to the board walk.
