Staycation
Had a great time being an American and living here since 2010. I didn’t know that it was a hotel. But we were pleased!! Hopi Dushi!!
We enjoyed our stay very much and loved the hotel, the giid food at the restaurant and the service . The area is safe, walkable distance to Emma bridge and Willemstad.. We would definitely go back to Bario!
Property was great. Restaurant was ok. Waited 25 minutes for a brownie and ice cream for carry out. When finally received, it was a melted mess. Room was great!! I got a 1 bed apartment and there was plenty of room. Walking distance to the bridge and lots to do. Didnt move my car for 3 days.

Stay was excellent. One day later I found I left my pants and shirt hanging in the wardrobe along with my wallet. Went back to retrieve and the girl that helped was the most helpful courteous and cheerful person I have met. She found my clothes and I later found my wallet!!! She deserves a lot of praise for a job well done. Than you!!!

Good choice but noisy
The property is very well located. Room is clean, but communication via Whats is bad. There is no reception, so you must talk to the restaurant’s employees. It is a noisy place due to the old construction. There was a big party during my stay with loud music until 2am.
We loved our stay at the Bario Hotel. The staff was amazing the room and hotel had that rustic charming yet classic feel. Will definitely visit again in he future.
Had an excellent 5 day stay a Bario hotel. If you want to get a local experience then this is your place. It is centrally located and the Queen Emma Bridge to Punda is about a 6 min walk. The staff were so Kind, food was great, just overall great hospitality.

Property was very noisy especially since my bed was situated directly underneath the staircase. I would suggest putting a mat on the staircase to avoid the noise. Jot everything was explained upon arrival however the costumer service was impeccable when asking questions. There were a few instances when I asked a worker for assistance and he had no mnowledge of what to do.
I would have loved to give this a higher rating but the mattress and pillows were almost unbearable. I was exhausted most of our trip. With that being said, this is a wonderful little urban boutique hotel. The staff was wonderful. Very helpful and friendly. The property never felt crowded. There is a small pool to relax by and a minimal restaurant and bar on site. We rented one of the small apartments. Didnt get the cute one pictured but realize that was just the luck of the draw. Also, you should realize that this is located in a neighborhood and does get quite noisy at times. We had young children screaming/playing right outside our window til midnight one night plus construction and other city noises on a regular bases. We were ok with this but if you are looking for peace and quiet you may want to look elsewhere.
Bario is such a quaint and beautifully decorated hotel. It's clean, close to everything and has a gorgeous restaurant attached to it! Would stay here again!
This is the real local experience and the property is really one of a kind. Colourful and vibrant, incredible staff who were so accommodating. Walking distance to shops, art, nightlife and dining in a charming neighbourhood. The food at the hotel restaurant was fantastic! Safe for solo female travellers. I will be back with friends!

A GOOD NEIGHBOURHOOD PLACE TO STAY
If you are looking for accomodation that makes you feel apart of the neighbourhood and not necessarily a hotel, this is the place to be. Colonional buildings renovated to apatment and room styles with all the amenities you need.
The Location is perfect to get around the city center.
The food is reasonable and tasty, with courtyard perfect for just hanging out with friends.
Found cockroaches in the room and bathroom, everyday if my stay :(
Other than that, good location, parking, super nice staff, nice eating concept!
Would definitely stay again :)
This property is in a great location but is also mixed with residential around their buildings. The neighbors near our building were annoying. They would play music loudly at the same time Bario would have their live music going on. They also allowed their dogs to bark throughout the day and night. We could have complained sooner and been offered to move rooms but that is also very annoying and something we don't want the hassle of doing while trying to enjoy our vacation. It was clean but the maid only put a sheet on the bed both times and I had to hunt someone down twice to ask for an actual blanket. There was not 24/7 reception and you had to find someone available in their restaurant to get anything you needed. The maid also didn't supply us with coffee and again it was annoying to find someone yet again to give us coffee. The location was the best part of this hotel. It was easy walking distance to several restaurants, bars and shopping.
