I don't normally write reviews, but I felt I had to share our experience. Let's start with the property - I give it 4 stars for cleanliness and modernity. The rooms are furnished with a modern touch, and because of that, everything comes across as 'new.' However, for a hotel being so new (I believe opened in 2020) the room had a lot of damage to the walls, for example, and the toilet seat looked like it had endured through a tornado. Doesn't matter to me. The grounds were clean-ish and still well kept, with the exception of the kiddie area in the waterpark, where there were loose tiles (my child picked up a small piece) and some spaces where there was broken meshing that a child could easily get their foot caught in and get hurt. Additionally, it was probably the least maintained space - moderately dirty with strewn napkins and pieces of paper and trash, cigarette butts, etc. and was obviously not cleaned up at the end of each day/might because all the trash and mess was still there each day of our stay.
None of that even really matters to me, but more so, is that we have never, ever, in all of our trips, encountered such rude staff. Let me preface this by saying we are Americans and it's in our culture to tip, tip, tip. We tip for everything! Towels. Drinks. Leaving a table tip for the clean-up even thought it's an all-inclusive. It didn't matter if we tipped or not! We were met with blank stares, little to no thanks at all. No good mornings, no hello's, nothing.
