The rooms were okay a bit on the rustic side. The room toiletries were limited . The position of the microwave at the bottom of the kitchen cupboard was not very user friendly. The cleaning staff , Shalani in the dining area and the main security guard were very pleasant. The front desk staff were okay as they were not very engaging or helpful. In addition, I do not understand why there were no laundry services available. We were advised by the front desk that we would need to carry our laundry to the laundrette located in Punda. I would not say that this hotel is a 4 star hotel as advertised.

The Penthouse apartment were just right for us and gave a great view of the pool and beyond. The urban pool was fantastic as was the breakfast plan we purchased. I would suggest that someone rake the sand and organize the lounge chairs to each night to give a neater appearance. The bar staff is friendly but needs to be more attentive to the customers. Sometimes they would be on their phones & would often say about an advertised happy hour menu "we don't have that drink today". When Shalini was there she was able to keep them in line and they worked harder. Shalini gets 5 stars from us as the top staff member we interacted with. Rooms weren't cleaned at a consistent time, often happening late afternnoon when we needed to shower. Hiring more housekeeping staff would help. The Ritz Hotel is in a great location for walking to Willemstad downtown area where there are many restaurants, bars, and shopping.You can easily get by without renting a car. 24-7 Taxi has reasonable prices and can be booked hours and days ahead of time. We booked a couple of tours that picked us up right in front of the hotel. I would highly recommend the Complete Island Tour...very informative! Every day we walked across the small bridges to Punda area and also across the Swinging Bridge to Otrobanda. Colourful buildings & murals to see! Even with the small criticisms, the Ritz a very nice hotel and was perfect for us.

I like that it located not far from many attractions. The pool area was nice with man made beach. However the property itself is outdated. The standard room we had the bed was uncomfortable and rocked. There wasn’t enough outlets in the room only 3. The worse part was washing with huge towels, they don’t offer small wash cloths we use in the states,

We had a recurring sewer smell in the shower. They felt they had fixed the situation by putting a can of deodorant spray in the bathroom, We did have one day with no smell, but when I had a shower it flooded the bathroom as the drain was plugged. The power would shut off randomly at night, not the whole resort, just two or three rooms beside us. It was beginning to feel personal. They always were able to fix it quickly, just weird to only happen to a few rooms.

security guard very professional and a really nice guy, But I didn’t enjoy my stay at all I had a very early morning flight where I ended up arriving in CURACAO at 9 AM I requested an early check-in and the agent told me that check-in is at 4PM, which is very understandable. I did not pay attention to see the check-in was so late. The agent then tell me he’ll try his best to get the room ready early and then give me a call once the room is done. I’ve never received a call or a text message on WhatsApp saying my room was ready up until I went to him and then he finally checked and he saw that the room was ready. Ice I entered the room there were stain in the walls. I spent most of my time in the room, but unfortunately I couldn’t enjoy it because none of my TVs were working. I asked for a TV remote for one of them. I ended up leaving and never receiving one other than the stains on the wall. It was really nice. It felt very comfortable. If you are looking for something that’s fully equipped like a home it’s the best place for you, but please do know that if you’re not arriving on a late night European flight that’s not the hotel for you.

The Ritz Village Hotel was such a disappointment. I saw a review comparing it to staying in a prison — and honestly, they weren’t lying. This place needs a full remodel ASAP. Cold water and staff came in after me stating 4 times to not enter.

Absolutely beautiful hotel. I stayed in the deluxe suite with a poolside view balcony. The location is perfect for traveling to the east and west ends of Curacao, as it's centrally located on the island. Punda and Otrobanda were about a 15 to 20 minute comfortable walk. There, you will encounter the Queen Emma bridge, a must-see but even better at night. You will also find the floating market has plenty of souvenir shops, great local eats. Plaza Bieu is a must! Don't miss out on the beauty of Klein Curacao for diving and Karackter Beach for the most beautiful sunset your eyes have ever seen! Hope this helps.
