Didn’t appreciate staff eating breakfast with guests-most hot foods like eggs and hash browns were empty because of that. We were told there was no more hot food left even though we were in dining room at 9 am. Also did not appreciate extra non refundable pet charge. Our dog is quiet and clean so to add an extra charge is just an added tax. Some owners didn’t pay that extra fee and left their pets outside in their cars and dogs barked all night and kept waking me up. Don’t think I would pay over $200 and stay here again.

Clean and well located property.
Nice small property with a great location and good dog walking area (hilly). Hotel and rooms were clean which is the most important thing. A few nits were a broken door to our room that had to slammed to secure and no wi-fi on our floor which I was told would be fixed sometime later. They offered to move us to a different floor but we had already moved from a room that smelled of smoke (not hotels fault).Nice people, simple very basic breakfast but I would stay there agin.

Hotel was average. Rooms look nice with modern furniture. Our room had some cobwebs on the ceiling above the bed which was a little off putting. They have blackout curtains which are nice but don’t fully cover the windows. The heat/ac was inconsistent. We set it at 73 and the what would come on, then it would blow cold and go down to 70. You had to keep changing the temp to get it warm again. The beds have these half size pillows on them which are horrible. The room doors constantly move and make a clicking sound constantly. I assume it’s some air pressure change in the hallway that moves them but you hear it all night long. We barely got any sleep. We had 4 people in our room. The room was set up with 4 bath towels but only 2 hand towels and 2 wash cloths which was odd but not a huge issue. The cleaning staff didn’t really clean our room. They gave us 3 new bath towels (no hand towels or washcloths, again weird since there was 4 of us), they emptied the trash, and that was it. Didn’t make the beds or clean the bathroom. The breakfast buffet was decent. About what you’d expect. Only real complaint is the waffle batter is very watered down so you end up with a half cooked soggy waffle. For as much as they’re charging, I expected better.

My biggest complaint was that our towels were dirty. We got in late and the towels had blue dye and the other had makeup on it. The front desk was welcoming and friendly.

Poor experience
I’ve stayed in this hotel so many times before and every time was great. This time though was different. They thought we were smoking in our room, but we would never since we had our daughter with us. They told me that they had to search our room, literally felt like we were being searched by the cops. They wouldn’t let us extend our stay for another night which ruined our trip (we were there for a funeral). I’m originally from Sturbridge and know that it’s a legal state to have marijuana on you. I do no smoke in general but since my boyfriend went to the dispensary it smelled like marijuana. Overall won’t stay here again, even cops can’t search based on smell so it’s crazy that they did.

There was a loud party in the room across the hall that started at 3:30am and ended at about 7am. Other customers were yelling and confronting the partiers in the hall. No sign of management or any action. Just yelling and chaos for hours.

Stayed a night for a wedding. The wedding venue was a 3 min drive/12 min walk from the hotel. Service was good at check in. The room was clean but the pillows were terrible and the AC/fan wouldn’t stay on. I also went to use the shampoo and conditioner and they were half empty. No body wash just a tiny bar of soap. Breakfast in the morning was decent, had the basics

The rooms were quite small compared to the other hotels we had used on this trip. It felt like is used to be a “MircoTel”. Other members of the family who were sharing a room, decided to buy another room bc they were so crowded. There were two different colors of the room flooring.Furniture was a bit beat up. The rooms need an update. The only ice machine was on the 3rd floor. Probably won’t be staying at a LaQuinta again. Check in staff in the evening was very helpful. Checkout staff in the morning, hardly said a word to us as we checked out. Very different from the Holiday Inn Express and Fairfield
