One of my Happy places! This property offers peace and serenity and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Jeanette is an asset! The view, fire pit, fireplace and hot breakfast are pluses.

Room was average. It had a small kitchen but only 2 butter knives, no forks. There was no shower curtain which we only noticed as we were preparing to depart in the morning so no time call the manager for support at 3am. The area around did not offer too many food choices and the hotel offered nothing itself.

The property was located in a nice area overlooking the river. Staff was friendly. I was a little surprised that we had to pay for an outdoor parking space in a lot, first time I've experienced that at a hotel.

0/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND- This property does not have adequate parking for the guest capacity. Upon check-in, when the small pay-for parking lot was full I was told to park down the street the parking lot of a closed business. I was told it was just for one night and should be fine because there are police cars doing sweep and drive-bys every once in a while. Absolutely unacceptable. When expressed my husband and I were uncomfortable with the parking arrangements, and asked to cancel I was told there was nothing they could do to cancel or refund because we had finished checking in.

Surprised they now charge for parking. Never did before. Had side view rather than river which was disappointing. On holidays breakfast should go later than 9:30. They need to be aware they have plenty of competition in area. Lovely location - I’ve stayed there often.

They gave away my room, and I waited 2 hours to try to get another room, that was cheaper and different from what I booked! I need a refund! The bedsheets were dirty and messy! I have pictures to show

Be careful when booking. I booked a 2 queen bed suite, not a studio and was informed they are the same thing. Why did I pay more? I will never stay at a homewood suites ever again. Very mid grade hotel at a junior suite rate
