We Shall Return again and again.
We have stayed here before and it’s very convenient if you’d like Johnny Mercer Pier and good fishing. Nice large room and friendly assistant.

While this is an older property, it was extremely clean & the room was well appointed - including the kitchen, fridge & stovetop. You cannot beat the location, which my surfer hubby & teen son loved and took full advantage of! Manager was very friendly & covered parking was convenient. Despite fact that the furnishings or kitchen/bath weren’t modern - everything was very clean!! The balcony overlooking the sea & dining table were fab. Both full beds were comfortable and plenty of pillows - stellar air conditioning. Will absolutely stay again next time we’re here.

The staff are super nice , i called for an early parking at 9:30 am , and the lady said that i can get the room keys too , probably just a lucky day but i appreciate it.. also it's right by johnny mercers pier which is a plus.

I stayed here to complete in Ironman Wilmington 70.3, I could hear people In multiple rooms around me who were having parties and there are no sound barriers as it was LOUD. I wouldn’t stay here again. Dated hotel but costly.

The hotel is right on the beach with free parking convenience is the best thing. The rooms are clean although a little older, every room has a view of the ocean and a balcony. As a rating it deserves 4.6 stars

We had a wonderful experience staying at the Silver Gull Motel. The staff was extremely kind, easygoing, and accommodating. You can't beat the price and location. We will definitely be back!

Overall, the unit was dated. The kitchenette appliances seemed at least 10 yrs old and had rust on them. The room itself was a decent size and could have fit a sofa for added confort. The bathroom seemed like they were trying to update to make it more modern but use of cheap printed ceramic tiles made it look cheap. Mold stains in the grout lines made it feel dirty. The proximity to the pier and the pillows on the bed were the highlights. 2nd floor hallway reeked of fish 24/7. Also, they only have 26 parking spots for 32 rooms. So when booked to capacity, 4 patrons have to riskbtickets on the street. Family had been going here off and on for 50 yrs, not worth $250 a night so we will most likely not be going back. You are paying for proximity tonthe pier. Caters to fisherman. Owner could update and make the place great again worthy of $250 a night, even $350-400 a night.

This is right next to Johnny Mercer pier. Its a lively little area right on beach. Its a motel, but it has an elevator, very secure setup to access motel after hours. Staff is available 7am to 11pm and were very nice. Its right on the beach and just down the street from beachie shops stores within bicycle distance to other parts of beach. Theres a little bar restaurant jusr across the street. Convenient alot of fun. Has washer dryer on property 1usd wash 1.5usd dry and there is a deck on the prooerty overlooking beach.
