It was good , lovely view , nice supply of dishes and cookware . There was a 6 hr power outage that night, guess they dont have a battery back up system. Rooms may need to include a flashlight. The reason I am not rebooking is all the bedrooms have inadequick darking on the windows and the bright outdoor light shines thru the blinds.Had to throw pillows over my head to block the light .

I liked that the property was beach front and that it was so close to a nice restaurant. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. If I stay again I would request a high level floor for a better view. We were on the first floor, so we could only see the waterline of the ocean. Much of our view was obstructed by the dune and tall bushes.

Best property I've encountered @ the NC Coast. Well appointed and spotless rooms that are well maintained by staff. I think this will become my "go to" retreat when I need a break from life's pressures. Far superior to the facility at which my parents and I roomed in the late '50s and early '60s (& is still standing to this day!). Rather pricey during high season, but that maintains its overall quality ...and likely prevents both occupancy and vandalism by Spring breakers. Most enjoyable stay after a 20-year absence. Will return....

It is a nice place to go, especially if you want on the beach. Building is old but inside updated nicely. Pool area was excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful. I would come back.

it was not stocked with anything other than paper towels no coffee samples sugar packets etc, so make sure you stop and shop on your way there. there are o grocery stores within walking distance. if you are staying and planning to cook you need to purchase anything you might want inclulding salt, pepper, water, etc. it was clean and a lovely setting but other than dishes, towels and sheets you are on your own,

All rooms face the beach & have a balcony. Our room had a full kitchen and dining for 4 people. Lovely room! Hope to come again.
