Good stay
This property is nice and secluded in the kootenay forests. It’s not as close to the Winlaw townsite as I thought but

A very pleasant surprise!
Although we were not sure about the size of this chalet, we were extremely surprised how big and accommodating this place was. The home is very clean, large and has many separate rooms with 2 queen and 3 double beds. The host bent over backwards to meet our needs. Although there is no cell service up and down highway 3A, this home has great internet, so "WhatsApp" works well for calling. The price is based on 2 people, with additional people paying a bit extra. It is very appropriately priced. It was a perfect place for our group of 7 hikers to stay, as we were able to access Valhalla Provincial Park easily. Thank you Bonnie!

ValleyChalet provided a much-needed respite during a stressful time. The spacious property offered ample room for our family, and the comfortable amenities made our stay enjoyable. The kitchen was well-equipped, the living area was inviting, and the bedrooms were cozy. We were grateful to have such a high-quality place to call home during the wildfire evacuation. Bonnie, the property manager, was incredibly helpful and made our stay even more comfortable.

You gotta stay here!
We had a great time at the cabin. Bonnie was a wonderful host. Always quick to respond to messages and help out. We knew there was no air conditioning so we brought your own fans-didn't need to as they were provided. Best to close up all of the cabin during the day and open up after about 4. Night cools off fairly well. The kitchen was well stocked, do bring your own spices as it's only salt and pepper. Great fenced back yard for kids and pets. Mini putt was fun and a hose with sprinkler to cool off. Bonnie also gave us insider information for the best little beach on the river. My only criticism is the beds, I thought they were too hard so I didn't sleep well. I ended up on the wonderful oversized chair in the living room and it worked great. I would recommend this place to anyone needing a quiet get away for themselves and their family. Thank you Bonnie we appreciate you!

Lovely getaway
We enjoyed our stay at the Chalet. The dogs especially loved the yard and chasing the balls on the putting green. The house wasn't super clean but it was comfortable and what we were looking for. We had some minor issue but the host was good at responding.

Valley Lodging
We loved staying in this location. We were in the valley for a family wedding and had our middle son, wife and two granddaughters stay with us. Lots of room, enough beds for everyone and the two levels worked great. We could separate when required and join up later. Nice place.

Fantastic cabin
We rented this cabin to stay in as a place to eat and sleep while I attended a weekend event. The house was super clean! You would never know other dogs stayed there. There was lots of room, lots of great things to do on the property no matter the weather. We were very happy with our stay and would definitely stay again!

Impressive House
We rented this house for a family reunion. The location was great, and easy to find. The house was clean, bright and comfortable for us all. The ground floor was a nice spot to hang out to keep us cool in the summer heat. The upper floor did get quite warm during the heat of the day, but it cooled off nicely at night. Some ceiling fans would have been a good touch to cool the place off quicker. Overall, a great stay.

Great location
Really enjoyed our stay for our family vacation. The place was relatively cool even though there was no AC and the hosts were great. We missed that there was no washer/dryer which was tough with little kids but that’s not the owners fault. Overall a great experience.

Great family getaway
Great chalet, very clean and well equipped. The area is beautiful with lots of great walking trails - bring a good insect repellent as the Slocan Valley Rail Trails along the river had lots of mosquitoes! Bonnie is a lovely host and went over and above with her attention to detail. We would definitely book again. Thanks Bonnie!

Great quiet hidden gem in the West Kootenays
Bonni and Trevor’s place is an amazing find! We loved being just minutes from Winlaw! The house has so much space that would be great for groups. We just used the upstairs, and had the back yard for relaxing. There’s a mini golf course that I can’t say enough about!! Definitely a place you will want to bring the family or just a weekend away. Can’t recommend it enough. Don’t forget to bring food so you don’t have to adventure too far if you’re looking to relax!
