When I arrived on the Monday the kitchen was a mess with unwashed plates and bins full. This only got worse through the week with bins overflowing with food by the Friday. I did clean up after I used anything, but clearly nobody else did and there is no cleaner coming in either, which is not great when places like this should be increasing their cleaning. There is no tv, only Netflix and this didn’t work in my room. When I reported this I was told the cleaner would look at the problem the following day, but since the cleaner never showed up all week, the problem was never fixed.
I was booked in the following week but cancelled as there is no way I would stop again.
Great value for money. Excellent kitchen facilities. Easy parking and good access to town. It is fairly basic (would have liked a chair of some sort in the bedroom) but for the price, convenience, and just being in a house rather than a hotel (more home-from-home'ish!) I would happily stay again. Great to have Netflix, too. And pleasant to have a garden 8f the weather is nice.
I needed an inexpensive place for a night to catch up with an old friend in Woking and this was an excellent choice... 30 mins walk and all the basics you'd want and a cracking price! Ensuite bathroom, clean comfy small room, basics provided in shared house, use of the garden, free parking - recommended!
Very good contact via whatsap, very quick to respond and fix any issues. Decent stay and decent value for money on the whole. Couple of downsides: Having stayed in a few different ones, the rooms vary a lot in size/quality - should be priced accordingly or upgraded accordingly. Upstairs landing very squeaky floorboards and old school door locks so noise travels very easily. Luckily most residents respect the "quiet" rules so it works well but on the odd occasions there was noise, it was like it was directly in your room. For longer stays cleaner doesn't clean room, I washed my own towels and bedding. Kitchen facilities (even basic cereal/milk/tea bags as advertised and postered in the house) very hit and miss in terms of availability. For eg. No tea bags for 5 days and then some milk/cereal was off. Not a big issue but shows theres no system in place to restock things
Close to Woking station, clean room and nice bathroom. Bathroom is shared so expect all the issues that come with that....having to wait while someone showers and all the rest. Shower only had one setting....boiling hot so prepare to be burnt
Great set of instructions via what's ap. As described, a decent sized room, towels and chocolates on arrival, comfy bed, brilliant shower, quite, tidy, the pefect place to rest my head after my works do!!

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Disliked: Room comfort
The bed was sinking in the middle. I was sleeping on the floor in order to get sleep. Also, I was not given the room which I reserved.
Clean, tidy, effort was there but doors were noisy
Lovely host, gave all information needed upfront, came across as welcoming and pleasant despite not meeting face to face. Nice touches added like breakfast items available, chocolates on the bed, eye mask should you want one. The only reason for giving this a moderate rating is the noise from other guests. Not that I could hear them talking or their TV sets but the doors are very noisy, the front door shutting, internal doors and the bathroom door too. Despite receiving a text saying check in was between 2-10pm one guest arrived at 11pm and woke me with the doors slamming and then showering. Looking for a place to stay most weeks in Woking but a good nights sleep is a must for early meetings. Room was clean and location was great but wouldn't stay again unless doors were fixed to be less noisy.

Could be good with a bit more TLC
Okay for a one night as a last minute stay. Owner communicated key instructions and room position prior to arrival via wotsap.
The house is in a fairly quiet road in a residential street Kerb appeal isn’t great - dodge the nettles & weeds by the door. Brads room is very small double the bed pushed to the wall drop leaf table cabinet & built in cupboard. Mattress is foam & not comfy. Shared Bathroom was smart & tidy towels and linen were also clean.
Kitchen was fairly newly fitted with lots of machines mainly for washing/drying laundry & an over spilling uncovered laundry basket with dirty bed linen which was not pleasant. Crockery was mismatched and no wine glasses to use. A sign on the cupboard said help yourself to breakfast. Dregs of milk in odd bottles mainly out of date. No butter & the bread in the fridge was dry and one even a month out of date.
One guest was ready to leave as he had no tv remote in his room..
No human contact but owner uses wotsap to communicate. We Informed him of lack of breakfast supplies milk coffee etc just after we checked in.
Nothing was forthcoming -we were told at 11 am the next day a housekeeper would replenish supplies. Not really acceptable. As we checked out a woman arrived with margarine milk coffee & yet more cereals. Think owner needs to keep a closer eye on things as with a little more attention it could be very good.
No smoke alarm in bedroom. Not all doors are fire doors. Kitchen dirty. Decor non existent. No T.V. remote.
Pity the property isn't all like the bathroom.
