The Fingerlake region is rumored to be the place where God put his hand on the Earth visibly seen and noted as the “finger” lakes because of the five lakes that mirrored a handprint on the map. Located a couple minutes from Lake Ontario and a short distance from the other Fingerlakes. This farmhouse is located between Sodus and Fair haven, perfect for fishing, catching waterfalls, hitting up the Rennasaince festival or Sterling Stage.
Enter through a nice entryway or the sliding glass on the deck leading to prepare you for your wonderful country stay in our Family friendly old time farmhouse with some modern work. Perfect for families, local event attendees or fishermen. Beautiful, large space, minutes from the water, four big bedrooms, two full bathrooms, kitchen sitting area, dining room, living room, half wrapped patio and a big brown barn. There is a fun bedroom with hideaway ceilings and walls. Another room has a pull down ladder that leads to a fully insulated attic. The barn and acreage is pretty wide open. There is plenty of space for tents, boats or campers Let us know of any special occasions. The home is left responsible for cleaning by guests. There is a $250 deposit refunded once youve cleaned after yourself. If you require professional cleaning beforehand please let us know and there will be a $250 cleaning fee.. Please note more often than not, the house is without electricity or water. Typically the home is supplied with enough water for the number of people on your rental contract times the average daily use but we have found a hard time with that as well as the well- so bring lots of water. The electric was all updated in 2023- and then just stopped working again. There is an account and service but we get a lot of issues. There is a minisplit and fans on site. It has a big yard and gorgeous natural landscaping. A Bon fire pit out back for some memorable nights with good conversations and s’mores and outdoor seating and solar lights on the deck.
