It just was awful from jump. I arrived early with kids they wanted to charge me 50 to come in early, which they didn’t thankfully but they didn’t specify about parking until I was already there and I had two kids under 4 and they put me on a. Second floor after I requested bottom because of the walk with the kids and parking. The. Restaurant was terrible they refuse to honor my free appetizer and then the food was awful
And I never even got the breadstick with my pasta. Also never got towels the housekeeper didn’t speak English and couldn’t understand me and I needed new towels and I overslept this morning and rushed out for
Checkout because there’s no damn alarm
Clock there . So yes it wasn’t a pleasant seat and the hot tub barely works. Oh not to mention the mattresses were so uncomfortable all springs time for some new ones.

I had stayed at this property due to the convenience to the DCU center. There was a systems issue from the moment I tried to check in, and many people were unable to check in for about 45 minutes. During this time, no coffee was available in the lobby as it was supposed to be. I was told during this time by a staff member that I could have a late check out the following day (until 1pm) without a fee. I appreciated this due to the inconvenience and check in wait time. By the time I was able to check in (having to wait on line once again), they would not honor this request. This experience just left such a bad taste in my mouth that this one simple thing that the hotel could do within their power to make up for the inconvenience, they chose not to do in the end, even after I was told I could do this. I even called Hilton and they told me this should not be an issue, but when it came down to it, the hotel told me,"it's up to us, not corporate" and didn't do the right thing. I would not stay here again.
Their computer system was down so everyone had to wait in a super long line to check in and was checked in late. The hotel should have a business continuity plan for when this happens, but they explained they do not have one, so everyone just had to wait in the lobby.
Finally got checked in and bed is all lumpy and hard, not comfortable at all. They need to invest in new mattresses. Room smelled like stale cigarettes even though they told us the room is non smoking - I don’t believe that at all. We also didn’t get any sleep because a main door located just outside our room was constantly being open and slammed shut throughout the night. This was the most disappointing experience we have ever had with a Hilton garden. We will be sure to never stay here again.
