Fantastic apartment - don’t hesitate
We have stayed in many apartments for short city breaks, including several times in Poland, but this was the best.
Our host was fantastic, meeting us at the apartment and always on hand via the Vrbo app to answer any questions and give advice on what to visit, where to eat and what was going on locally.
The apartment will sleep 10 comfortably, and 9 very comfortably, in 3 large double bedrooms, 1 twin room and one “fold-down” bed - a double - in the sitting room. This is not a sofa bed or a poor deal, but a proper bed which folds down out of the wall. There are 2 large bathrooms and an emergency extra toilet and a large kitchen where 8 can fit easily around the table. One of the bedrooms adjoins a terrace, which can easily accommodate 8 people. The property has been beautifully renovated and the rooms are huge. If you have ever experienced some clever photography of an apartment which turns out to be much smaller than it looked on the photos, well this is the opposite! In the sitting room was a projector, meaning cinema style viewing or playing the x-box, which our kids loved.
The location was on a fairly main road but was quiet. 2 short stops on the tram (we also walked it several times) and you are right in the action of the centre of Wroclaw. Behind the house was the river, where you can go kayaking or just enjoy a walk. We walked to the zoo in about 20 minutes. For eating out, jump on the tram and go in to the centre. Trams are easy, cheap and frequent.
