Ookawaso and Nakamachi Fuji Grand Hotel are some great choices! They're about as close to Yanaizu as you'll get.

Still on the hunt for somewhere to stay? Take a look at the Hotel Route-Inn Aizuwakamatsu, 20 kilometres from the downtown area. The Ekimae Fuji Grand Hotel is a good backup, just 20 kilometres away.

Looking for more things to do? Consider spending some time checking out the Nakatsugawa Canyon and Gran Deco Snow Resort. You'll find them in Kitashiobara, 40 kilometres to the northeast of Yanaizu. The Kyukamura Ura-Bandai and Urabandai Royal Hotel are a few of the great apartment and hotel options here. 60 kilometres to the southeast of Yanaizu you can also stay at Nasu, home to the Rindoko Royal Hotel and Hotel Epinard Nasu. Sitting 70 kilometres south of Yanaizu is Nikko, a regional hub with a population of 16,000. It's home to some awesome attractions, like Akechidaira Plateau, Kegon Waterfall and Kanmangafuchi Abyss. Iemitsu Mausoleum and Lake Chuzenji are a few more which are sure to offer up some choice photo ops. The Nikko Hoshinoyado and Nikko Senhime Monogatari are a few of recommended hotel options in Nikko.
