On the very edge of Dartmoor.
We enjoyed a pleasant three night stay here. The cottage was warm and we liked having the log burner. We appreciated the well equipped kitchen. We found the bed comfortable. It would have been nice to have a table to eat at and there is plenty of room in the lounge for one. The cottage is on the edge of Dartmoor and very near to beautiful Tavistock. beautiful Tavistock.

Quiet & peaceful getaway
Cosy yet spacious cottage, easy access to Dartmoor. We loved having a really peaceful few days here as did our dog. We walked around Burrator reservoir which was about ten minutes drive away and saw some wonderful wildlife. The cottage is well set up. Julie and Will were very welcoming hosts. Thank you!

Beautifully silent
A week of total relaxation. A week to bring 2 books. A week where good walking shoes are a must. Both Julie and Will are the perfect owners, they live a few yards away but are totally respectful of our personal space. Not that messages went unanswered the contrary is true. lovely size of cottage for 2 people, and a dog, where my dog had perfect freedom to go out but within an enclosed garden. The log fire lit up the cottage at night and created a wonderful glow in the room. Without doubt we'll be back. As a footnote, would appreciate a small freezer in the fridge, a microwave, and a small table to dine on in the living room. Yes there was a long shelf in the kitchen but a small round table and 2 chairs would be the final touch. Lovely memories of the cottage situated in the magnificent Dartmoor. Alan and Jean..and Mac

A cosy property perfect for us as a couple and our dog. Great location to explore Dartmoor. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook in the evening. Clean and tidy. Mattress uncomfortable and probably could do with replacing. Overall we would definitely return. Thank you :)

Excellent and tranquil
When we arrived at the coach house we were pleasantly surprised it’s a beautiful, hidden away coach house in its own garden behind the main house, very peaceful excellent if you have dogs, closed in garden. Very clean and tidy, just perfect for that quiet getaway/break. Would definitely go back so relaxing.

Gateway to Dartmoor
This is one of those places where you think 'this is actually better than my own place'. It has a lot of character and is very convenient and clean. And Dartmoor is literally around the corner so a perfect place for those who like hiking. We stayed only 2 nights but wouldn't have mind to stay another week. Already planning to come back in spring time!
