The room had a bad odor and the bathroom door was falling off the frame. They did not leave enough towels for 3 people even when we asked for 3 people. The breakfast was very lacking. The waffle irons were not cleaned properly and had the room smoked up and the staff was very rude because someone closed one of the windows because it was 20 degrees outside and was cold in the breakfast area.

I was saying for two night so i could make my fathers final arrangements. I wanted a place to come back and relax before driving 8 hrs home. My first night my bed was broken, you had to sleep in the middle of the bed. I asked to change rooms before leaving to go to my fathers house. The staff did change my room, from a king to a double queen. I left before checking the bed out. After my fathers arrangements where done, i came back to relax. My queen bed had a plastic cover on it. Like i was a child who wet the bed. I asked if I could get a refund and i was unable to. I left and did the 8 hr drive home instead of sleeping in a dirty hotel, where people lived, hallways were not clean, staff were very unfriendly.

Not horrible, but way to expensive for condition
The staff was super friendly upon check in. The room was spacious. There were only 4 tiny pillows. One of the lamps didn’t have a bulb. The phone on the desk had no dial tone or connection which was inconvenient when we had an issue getting the tv to turn on and had to use our cell phones. There were no charging outlets in the room- not traditional outlets. One was obviously in disrepair to the point where I’m glad I looked first for fear of electrocuting myself. No traditional outlets near the beds so I had to charge my phone across the room. Overall, the room wasn’t super clean, but it wasn’t the worst I’ve stayed in. The free breakfast was good-waffles, cereal bar, oatmeal, fruit- but there are huge signs that you’re not “allowed” to take any of the food out of the tiny room it’s served in (that’s filled with paintings and other supplies). Overall, I feel that these rooms are way overpriced for how old they are and their condition. If this room would’ve been $65 it would have been different. But $130+ is silly to charge with seemingly no intent to use the money from these exorbitant rates to modernize the hotel. But, my husband and I needed a night away from the kids that wasn’t too far from home. And for that, it got the job done.

Clean , quiet . Not modern , but keep in style for the " historical feeling" The breakfast is NOTHING. The best way to go some where to get the real breakfast. Too many good places in a few minutes to drive.

Floors were dirty and sticky, bathtub faucet almost fell off while trying to turn shower on, towel rack hanging from the wall. King size bed with 3 small pillows, tv took forever to find service and work. No continental breakfast, coffee tasted days old.
