Staff would not let me access the lounge even though I was part of their hotel membership and has been there multiple times in the past. Morning and afternoon staffs were wonderful but the evening staff was okay.

Very close to station. All lines. We saw mount fuji from our hotel room. Very good service and amenities for the price. Rooms are a bit small but can fit a suitcase to open up. Will go again

great stay. no complimentary bottled water though.
we stayed for just 1 night, and we were very pleased. room is small, can only open 1 luggage at a time, but everything was clean and had a nice bay view. you may get personal care items by the front desk on the 5th fl. one thing they do not offer is bottled water. we were advised that the 'bathroom water' is potable, however, if you're not comfortable drinking tap water, there's a 7-11 downstairs.

Do not be fooled by the superior room rating, not enough room for two people and a cabin size case. The photographs supplied do not represent reality, i went to question the quality of the room given to be told it was indeed a superior room A better experience close by is the new otanii hotel, better rooms, more expensive but a better experience. I will never cross the door of the Washington again.

Room with a view
The property is showing its age but is well-maintained. It is close to a lot of tourist attractions and within walking distance to the train station. The view from the room was incredible. There is a 7-11 at the bottom of the building and plenty of restaurants around. The hotel breakfast was good but make sure to be there early since they close the kitchen at 930AM.
