We stayed for 2 nights the staff were great always happy and polite, a man called chris was very helpful when we wanted to go onto york centre he ordered us a taxi and gave us a card of the firm they use which was way cheaper than a uber,the room was clean,tidy and warm for us which was a nice welcoming on a cold day i would definitely recommend for a stay

Would recommend and would stay again
Lovely warm welcome from reception despite us arriving 2hrs before check in. Very friendly and helpful staff throughout our stay. Breakfast was well presented and a good selection & quality. The only down aide for me was staff hoovering outside my room at 8am, and dirt build up on floor tiles in bathroom.

The staff can't do enough for you and smiley and pleasant and the breakfast is excellent and 2 minutes to the Monks Cross park and ride for York Central

Service is 5/5. Kudos to all of them, very helpful and friendly staff. Great breakfast and parking. Room is basic, just exactly what you need. Mattress a bit soft to our liking, but the pillows are superb. Had issues with toilet but minor. And the best part: no smell!

There is a drain problem causing a stink. Air freshener being used to try and hide it. Bed uncomfortable compared to Premier Inn. Staff were cheery and polite.

Overall, very satisfied with the cleanliness, however the bathroom sink waste pipe needs cleaning, as it emits an unpleasant odor occasionally.

Accommodation was clean, staff were extremely friendly and helpful, breakfast was excellent for an express hotel, evening meal at Toby carvery next door was disappointing but had no impact on my stay at holiday inn, despite being connected to the Internet it was extremely poor connection
