Hotel was great with easy parking and large open spaces for your dog. Rooms were very warm, we turned everything off, opened the windows and put on the fan.

Excellent 2day stay 24th to 26th December. Warm friendly welcome on arrival. Allowed to check in early as theyvwere quieter than usual. All staff were smiling and helpful. The bed was so comfortable. All in all a very pleasant stay and well positioned giving easy access to the road network. I will be back if in the area.

Took my fur kid with me and WOW was she made a fuss off. Staff were very helpful and polite. Food was lovely and a good selection. Was a bit of a walk to the park and ride to get bus into York. Overall had a lovely stay

Sorted by the manager.
Arrived to be told the room wasn't ready, but we could pay £20 extra for an early check in. A room was suddenly available after we paid! However, the room was directly above the extractor fans for the kitchen. One night of interrupted sleep followed. However, we mentioned it to the manager the next morning and he could not have been more helpful, an immediate move to an upgraded room. Five star service here.

Hotel is conveniently located for York, uber was £11 each way or there is a park & ride, in a short drive.. room was spacious and bed comfy, bathroom wasn’t clean as I’d have liked but I turned the shower on and cleaned it down first before using. Breakfast was included, great options especially milk alternatives. Staff were really friendly

Sadly the room felt a little tired, with broken bath panel, and bins for a view. However, communal areas looked nice, and really handy location for visiting york with a park and ride not too far down the road.

No heating, blocked sink, staff barging into room whilst I was on the toilet regardless of a do not disturb sign. And to top it all off they have charged us twice. Absolute shambles (no York pun intended) And when I complained or pointed out the mess they simply said ‘oh well … sorry about all that. Avoid.
