We chose this property for the amount of space it had, it’s location away from the “riff raff,” and it’s general proximity to Hershey Park, Gettysburg, and Philadelphia. We got more space than we bargained for and an absolutely AMAZING view. The property was very quiet as well. Inside the property was clean, very well decorated, modernized with TVs in every room, and fully supplied kitchen. Every property has its quirks or disadvantages. If that is why you are reading the reviews (why I usually read the reviews) I can tell you the downstairs and upstairs do not connect inside. We had teenagers who stayed downstairs but I would not recommend any aged child that is not 100% self sufficient in the “downstairs.” Stairs are required to enter downstairs, step tops are made of gravel, and there is not handrails. Anyone with any disability, any joint issues, any fall risk at all, should not plan on using the downstairs. The stairs that go upstairs do have rails, spot lights, and warning strips to let you know the stairs are steep. Once you make it to the top, it’s worth it for the views. When we visited the dryer rotated the clothes, but it would not dry them. We tried 3 cycles, we reduced the size of the load, but it wouldn’t dry. The property owner was very responsive to any issues we came across. The downstairs TV remote was missing. They immediately ordered us a new remote and had it shipped… with batteries. Over all, this was a good property with a good host.
