Do NOT STAY HERE!
This woman has false advertising stating that there is a pool that is nonexistent. And the camper in the pictures looks like a large camper and it’s really the size for one person… not to mention we couldn’t even get out of the car because of the amount of bees around the property! Then she proceeded to try to get us to pay outside of Vrbo and I’m so happy I didn’t because she then ghosted us after asking her to cancel our rental and refund us so we could get another space and she completely ghosted me and I had to go through Vrbo to get my refund. I advise you to not stay here, she is not to be trusted. It was a major letdown, and the fact that she straight up lied to me about canceling their reservation and refunding me, and then ghosting me Speaks volumes about the owner.

Clean and nice decorations
Overall, our stay was fine. We knew it was on a ranch but I was surprised to find the fenced german shepards across from the camper. They made it so that I didn't want to sit outside with a cup of coffee in the morning. They barked a lot when we walked outside and one time one of the started attacking the other one. We just tried to move in and out really quickly to not disturb the dogs. The camper was well decorated but all of the decorations made it hard to put our stuff in the camper. We just moved them all into cabinets to make some space for our stuff. The host left the awning out and when the winds picked up the awning broke. We arrived at night and would have preferred to just know about the awning (and no need to have it out for a night time arrival). The host was super responsive to texts. It would be helpful to provide more details on where the camper is and where to park when arriving. Someone working on the property showed us the camper. The host was also very nice (we met her a few times). The black water tank was FULL when we left. We didn't know how to check it when we arrived, so I'm unsure if it was empty when we arrived. Overall, it was a bit expensive for what it was. We wanted to try out a camper as we are considering buying one for ourselves--it was good for that. The location was also good--we went to Joshua Tree National Park, Big Bear, and Palm Springs during our trip.

BED BUGS
I was looking forward to a beautiful experience in Joshua Tree with my dad who was visiting all the way from Colorado. Unfortunately, nothing about this place held up to the expectations we had. The owner of the ranch was not present on the property when we arrived, we were greeted by her live-in staff who looked a bit questionable (due to drug abuse) who seemed to be just as confused on where to lead us to our stay as we were. When we did find our way, the trailer was stationed next to her two german shepherds who were locked up in a cage and they ended up barking pretty aggressively anytime we were outside which may be of concern to many who do not expect it. We happen to love dogs so we tried our best to acquaint ourselves with them so they wouldn't be so startled by our presence. A main disappointment was that the jacuzzi wasn't operational which is something the owner had confirmed with me over the phone prior to us booking which happened to be the main reason I booked our stay. It's winter in Joshua tree - the only way to enjoy yourself is through staying warm by a jacuzzi or fire. When the host arrived she did give a complimentary smores kit and additional firewood which sort of made up for a big part of the experience. But I STILL to this day have bed bug scars on my legs and through my trip to Australia over a month after our experience which is undeniably unacceptable. The host has not been responsive to try discount an overpriced accommodation. Book elsewhere.
