Check in was a little confusing as we were told to use code to access the main door, but the keypad wasn't working. It turned out the door was unlocked, and then we had to use a tablet to check ourselves in and get our key card. Other than that, this place was great! Right next to the central station and within walking distance of a lot of great food and drink options.

Nice deluxe double room next to train station
Nice hotel next to Zurich train station. No contact self check at the cafe. Hotel will send email 24 hours before arrival with pass code for check in. Worth to stay in Deluxe Double room as it was much larger than the standard rooms which were squeezy.

Room was comfortable and nice. It was weird that all of the windows faced the neighbors windows so they could look right in. The place was close to the Metro station and easy to navigate to.

This was our second time staying here. We love how close it is to the train station as well as the surrounding area. The room was spacious and stylish. I love the Nespresso machine in the room and excellent restaurant below.

Overall good, but very noisy
Overall it was a good place with cute decor and roomy space. However, the room was very warm and the room fan did not work very well. Also the windows could not be left open at night since the train station was right next door and it would get too loud with all the trains passing. During the day it was noisy due to the nearby construction.

The location is very convenient to the train station and was perfect as a home base for our two days of train travel around Switzerland and early morning trip to the airport for our departing flight. We were very disappointed in the room specifically the lack of storage...no drawers, small "closet" with ONE hanger and some hooks on the wall. The bathroom pocket doors didn't close well and had no latch so privacy when using the toilet was a bit of an issue. I am not sure I am a fan of the self-check in as there really wasn't anyone available to ask questions about the area, dining options etc.

Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in
HORRIFIC! The kinder of the two employees I interacted with helped a lot and she was great, but the first woman I dealt with does not belong in hospitality. I arrived with two people in a room both only fitting one and set for one. It was also almost 30 degrees in there. This woman tried to convince me I was wrong about the room being set for one and refused to give me a fan when I asked. I found out the next day the hotel does have fans. So she knew we were in this attic closet of a room in a bed and space for one in high temperatures and offered no help as we stayed up through the night sweating and squeezing into a twin bed set for one. When I asked to cancel since they couldn’t offer a room to fit us she rudely said I’d be charged. No empathy. No solutions. What a horrible human being. That said, be warned, the “wispy” room means EXTREMELY small and room 41 is the size of a walk in closet with a small window that can only be slightly opened. The pillows are terrible and our bathroom sink was clogged. The bathroom door didn’t stay closed no matter what we did so you have to go and keep a hand or foot on it. The shower door is smaller than it should be so your bathroom will be soaked with each shower.

The arrival / check in process is a chore... And there is no hotel staff to support arrivals or departures. The room itself, though small was clean, fresh air abundant and comfortable. The shower layout leaves something to be desired.

A true gem
The hotel is a boutique style and therefore it is fairly small and quiet. It is located very close to the central station and is extremely convenient to go around. The guests need to do self check in, which is quite straightforward. At the check in, Andras helped us with the settling in, even though he is not really a front desk boy. He is extremely helpful and super nice. He works at the cafe at the entrance to the hotel. In the morning, Oaryna, who is on her shift at the cafe gave us plenty of great tips. In a way the people at the cafe who may not be part of the hotel are the best gem of this hotel. About the room, it is very cozy and clean. The bed is very comfy. We got a attic room so we got slanted walls, but that’s what we wanted. Our room is certainly not as spacious as in some countries, but it should be noted that it is quite a nice sized Swiss hotel. I would like to add two suggestions that might make it cherry on top for this already great hotel. (1) The owner may consider adding either a curtain or door to fully close the shower area. No matter how carefully we showered, we got water splashing out since it is only a half closure. (2) Maybe the hotel could provide a “no cleaning or new towel” option such as a sign or something. That way, maybe it can be more eco friendly. Just a pointer US travelers. As per Swiss rule, the hotel could only keep the AC only at 24 Celsius at the lowest. So it can feel quite warm. But it is not the hotel’s fault.
