Good all rounder
Hotel was a decent all rounder. Shuttle bus was a fantastic service and helped us so much going back and forth to airport which has a mall and train station there. Requested a travel cot on the booking but had to ask again for one to be provided. Bathroom was grubby and aged lots of watermarks discolouration and limescale and bath not cleaned well. Rest of room immaculate beds cosy. Staff very helpful the free chocolate hour was cute especially if you have kids.

They gave my pre-paid room away. I checked in online the night before and when we arrived they told me they had to send me to another hotel because they over booked. The guy at check in was very dismissive and nonchalant about the whole thing .

With car this hotel seems to be in the middle of nowhere. But once GPS took us to it everything became OK. Receptionist was quick and polite, explained how to get to the airport to return our rental car and how to go back on the hotels shuttle. There is a small city near the private property of the hotel, and we had pleasant walks on the streets. There is a shopping area also nearby, but we heard three low flying ergo extremely loud airplanes on our first walk while waiting for our room, that scared us what to expect all day and night. Our room was on the 9th (top) floor, and it was a pleasant surprise that no noise could be heard. The elevator was spacy and extremely fast. The room had a small fridge, cafe machine with plenty supply (except milk). Although the hotel hosted two large groups which occupied most of the restaurant and bar spaces, the waiters were very busy to accommodate us also there and served fast. Our only bad experience was that the hairdryer in the bathroom did not work, and the actual receptionist lady promised to replace it when we went down to complain at around 6 pm, but replacement has not arrived until 9 am when we checked out.

No air conditioning. Asked for a fan, which they gave. However, the fan grill was full of dust. They did not even feel the need to clean the fan. Keys randomly stop working. Went to the front desk and they “fixed” them. Went up to my room and the keys still did not work. Had to go down the second time to finally get the keys “fixed”. Called the front desk and asked for extra towels, which they said they will send. Nothing for an hour. Called again and was told they will send. They never sent the towels. When I queried about this the following day the front desk person said he was not there yesterday and hence does not know anything. He was unapologetic and did not even care about my concern. Came back in the evening and found that no house keeping was done. Went to the front desk and they said they don’t know what happened but will do it now. Asked us to wait in the lobby for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes I was told the room is ready. Went up and found no house keeping was done. Came down and asked if this is some kind of a joke and they had no clue what was happening. The front desk person said the house cleaning staff are not their employees and come from some third party company. They asked me to wait in the lobby again for 30 minutes after which the room was finally ready. They have a shuttle to the airport. However it is not available from 12 pm to 4 pm, which is very inconvenient. After this experience I will never stay at any Movenpick hotels. I suggest you don’t 2

Frequent airport shuttle. Great stay in Zurich if you are flying in or out. Took Uber to the Old Town section - awesome quick visit on our way back from the Bernese Oberland area.

A lot nicer than I expected for an airport hotel! The staff was very friendly. The beds were comfortable. The air conditioning didn't work very well, but I know that is a common issue for many hotels in Europe. Luckily, the weather wasn't too hot. Overall, it's a pretty good hotel if you need a place to stay prior to a flight out of Zurich airport.

Had booked a king-size bed at Mövenpick Zurich Airport, but on check in, was assigned to the Movenpick in Regensdorf. Staff was kind enough to book and pay for the return trip taxi, but on arrival in Regensdorf, was assigned a room with twin bed, instead of a king that I paid for. Movenpick shouldn’t have accepted my upfront payment and confirmed a room. Though the Regensdorf facility was next to a shopping arcade, the overall experience was tainted by the Regensdorf facility.
