Book Ahaura hotels

Walkable to the cavern, blowholes and pancake rock. Great location by the beach. Take a bottle of wine and sit on the picnic tables overlooking the ocean for sunset. Magical. Only negative is that there isn’t anything much within 30 miles, but the restaurant next door is great, and they sell wine by the bottle to take away. 🙂

Hosts were very personable and friendly. Bedroom smelled a little musty when we first got there, but aired out. Great square footage and we had a nice stay.

Nice little property on the hill, overlooking the train station. Owners were friendly and helpful. Close to shops and restaurants

Greymouth was chosen as a stop because the distance travelling, the hotel was clean, but all hotels are hot The Copthorne is one of the best in Greymouth and it served its purpose

We enjoyed the 2br 2ba cabin and its proximity to the ocean

Very nice staff, always eager to help. The rooms were freshly painted and clutter free with a sink in each room. There is no closet nor shelving for storing the luggage or hang clothing for longer stays however they might have larger room with storage capacity for extended stays. The laundry facility is superb. The kitchen is large and clean. Highly recommended as it is the only affordable place in Greymouth and it is my j better than other hostels or even hotels in the southern part.
