Do not trust this hotel!
We arrived at this hotel to be told she had double booked and there was no room for us. despite the fact that we had booked via hotels.com in April. She suggested we stay with a friend but could not guarantee breakfast and the friend was out for the next 2 hours so we could not see the room. As it was mid-afternoon We decided to find our own accommodation and eventually had to pay double the amount we had planned. There was a wedding car in the car park so we think more guests arrived than expected and took our room! When we got home there was an email from her dated the day we planned to stay, hardly helpful when we were on holiday. We were not amused.

Basic accomodation in somewhat rundown old farmhouse. At least there is a separate shower. WC is almost private, but other guests in kitchen area have access

Love location and magnificent views across the fields and surrounding hills. Friendly staff and excellent breakfast menu. Would definitely select this hotel again if staying in the region.

An interesting find on the way home
We chose this place to break our journey from the channel port back to Germany.A good deal has been invested by the young owners (who also run a farm) in converting the rooms around the traditional farm courtyard into plain but stylish bedrooms with well appointed en suites and an elegant dining rooom for breakfast. Although it's v. handy for the autoroute - just a km. away, you don't hear the traffic once inside the courtyard. You could of course pay a bit less less to stay in a soulless chain hotel with no parking facilities in central Tournai, but why spoil your holiday or business trip by missing this delightful place? It's quite a way from anywhre to eat out, but take a bottle of wine and a picnic and eat them in the open summerhouse out in the croft.

Ideal stop near ferry ports
This is a small family run hotel, based upon a beautiful old farm, it is very picturesque. The owners were very attentive and helpful. It was very convenient for the ferry port. I think we will return to see more of the area, and we will certainly use it again when coming over on the ferry. The accomodation is very comfortable and we were made most welcome.

Superbe, mais attention a la gedtion des réservat°
L'endroit est fantastique. La suite spacieuse et la baignoire immmmmmmense. Le personnel est sympathique et très avenant. Je regrette juste que la direction ait fait une erreur en m'indiquant deux jours avant mon arrivée que la suite que javais réservée sur Hotels.com. était en fait déjà réservée et qu'ils n'avaient qu'une chambre simple à me proposer (je cherchais une suite). Elle était pourtant bien marquée disponible sur Hotel.com qui m'avait confirmé ma réservation la veille sans problème. J'avais alors perdu ma soirée à chercher une alternative (la veille du WE de la saint valentin je vous laisse imaginer la tension 😀). Au final le manager m'a rappelé le lendemain pour me dire c'était eux et non Hotels.com qui s'étaient trompé et que la suite était bien disponible. Ils ont donc pu confirmer ma réservation. Au final très bon séjour. J'aurais juste apprécié une excuse de la direction à mon arrivée voir un geste pour le désagrément, le stress et la soiree perdue que leur erreur m'avait causé. Je recomlande malgré tout ce superbe endroit.

Super confort et extrêmement propre. Le seul problème de la chambre 4 c’est qu’elle est au dessus d’une salle commune et que dans mon cas ça a été bruyant le matin (5h30) quand les autres clients y sont allés manger pour leur pdj avec leur propre victuailles. Le pdj de l’hôtel est très copieux et de qualité. Le personnel est très aimable

Kamer klammig: eens dit aangepakt is het super!
Vriendelijke ontvangst, lekker ontbijt, kamer en badkamer waren heel ruim en zeer mooi ingericht.,.maar de vochtigheid zat in ons bed. En de badkamer bleef uren klammig na het douchen, zelfs met het raam open te zetten om zo te proberen te ventileren. Door deze vochtigheid was het voor ons geen prettig verblijf...spijtig. Eens dit probleem aangepakt is dit een heerlijke geluiddichte kamer!
