Our stay was completely ruined by the hotel's poor soundproofing and unprofessional handling of complaints. Starting at 7 PM, the child in the room above us was running and screaming nonstop, and the constant thudding made it impossible to relax. We put up with it for 30 minutes before going to the front desk. A staff member came to our room, heard the noise firsthand, called it "ridiculous," and assured us they would speak to the guests upstairs and let us know the outcome.
But we never heard back, and the noise continued. By 8:30 PM, we had to call the front desk again, saying that if it wasn’t resolved soon, we’d have to involve the authorities. They promised to send someone up again, but it wasn’t until 9:30 PM that the noise finally stopped.
The slow response, lack of communication, and overall unprofessionalism were unacceptable. For a hotel, soundproofing and proper handling of guest complaints should be basic standards. Unfortunately, this experience fell far short, and I wouldn’t recommend staying here if you value peace and good service.
