First off we had to call hotel three times before a person answered after arrival at 12:20 am. We were told to call after we collected luggage and a van would pick us up. It took 20 minute before someone answered. The van never came, or if it did we were not picked up. We waited for 40 minutes. We took a taxi , the hotel is 8 minutes away from airport. The hotel is close to a couple of restaurants. It is clean. Bar is not a bar. Very unfriendly staff there. Poured a one ounce drink and charged $28 For a vodka. When questioned, he corrected it, but with an attitude! Breakfast was not good. Would choose another hotel in Anchorage.

Definitely consider.

Really good option on Anchorage. Clean, safe, new and felt like a normal Hyatt Place (which is a good thing). Breakfast looked good but I didn’t have it. Coffee was great.

For the price I paid I was a little disappointed. When we checked in I found a big hair ball in our room and had to kill a spider in our shower. Then the next day the continental breakfast was a free for all with no one cleaning tables or refilling plates. I think they could staff a bit better to help with keeping up with cleanliness

Nice mid tier hotel in Anchorage. Quick check in which was appreciated after long drive down from Fairbanks. Room was not big, but cozy. View was not great, had view of adjacent Office Depot, but had nice blackout curtains for mid summer stay. Breakfast was okay, but only comment was for some reason they offered an orange/Tang like drink. We stayed at other Hyatt’s on this trip and they offered regular orange juice. Not sure why this Hyatt did not. But overall enjoyed our quick stay.

The mattress of the pull out bed is the worst quality I have seen. It was extremely thin with no support. There was no blanket or pillows in the room for the pull out bed - I had to request these. My first night there on 27 July when I asked for these articles, I was initially told you were out of extra pillows, but eventually two pillows were brought to the room with a blanket. Then the second night I stayed on 30 June it was the same situation. I was told there were no extra pillows, but they would look. I asked three separate times between 7pm and 11pm and received the same line - that they were looking for pillows. But they never came back to me letting me know the situation. I did not receive any pillows for the pull out bed that night. The breakfast that came with the room was horrid. After looking at it we decided to go elsewhere for breakfast. The air conditioning in each room I stayed in was fixed so that it could not be adjusted to go lower than 69 degrees. Both nights were very uncomfortable due to the quality of the pull out bed, lack of pillows, and the rooms were too warm.
