Disliked: Staff & service, room comfort
The checkin was delayed due to our room door getting stuck. It took lot of time for them to resolve. Hence it all started on the wrong footing.
The AC in the room was poorly installed and designed with insufficient blow and cooling capacity for such a big room. Antalya is hot during June and we had a difficult time to cope with the heat inside the room.
When we complained to the front reception, they wouldn’t take any action to rectify the root cause of the problem. Subsequently, we had to ask them to install pedestal fans (2 nos) to keep the room ventilated.
Overall it was not a good experience in this hotel. There was a gentleman in the front desk at the reception in the day shift and he wasn’t helpful at all in resolving issues. He would just say “I’m not a technician and hence I am unable to resolve” which is not the kind of response that guests want to hear. He wouldn’t care to offer any help nor assistance and thus totally unprofessional. Keeping such people at the front desk is detrimental to the business. You get frustrated as he tests your patience to the core. There was another gentleman during the night shift and he was very helpful and kind. Overall not a good stay at this place.
