The hotel is certainly outdated but the staff, service, facilities and grounds more than make up for it. It's quiet, close to everything. The food is wonderful as is the wine. A family friendly hotel - I love staying here when I'm up in Townsville for my dental check ups :)

First person to try the newly installed EV chargers. The Noodoe app worked fine and all seemed to function normally. Great to be able to charge your vehicle while you relax around the pool and bar area of this great place.

We enjoyed our stay at the mecure. Very close to Shopping Centre & Food. Our room itself was nice, but very small and squished for 3 people. The bathroom definitely needs a lot of attention. Loved the wildlife at night. Daughter loved the kids pool, was like a warm bath! Buffet breakfast was awesome, we thoroughly enjoyed it. Daughter loved the pancake machine! Dinner was great, just a bit on the slow side.
