This is a wonderful little hotel located in a perfect area, within walking distance to the Acropolis and other historical sites, museums, shopping and restaurants. Breakfast was fantastic and set in a lovely, unique, intimate covered terrace area and included an assortment of fresh pastries and fruit, but also delicious menu items cooked fresh. The hosts of the property are warm and accommodating. We were allowed to drop off luggage prior to check in, and upon check in, was greeted and escorted to our room, and also provided a detailed map of the Plaka area and personal recommendations of the top spots to visit. The hosts were also very quick to respond to all messages prior to our visit. I wish we could have stayed longer than one night!!

What a perfect location, close and within walking distance to absolutely everything. The room was quite large by European standards, modern bathroom, comfortable bed. Yay, bathrobes! The staff were so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Nice to have a complimentary breakfast before heading out for the day. If we were ever back in Athens, we wouldn't consider staying anywhere else. You won't go wrong at Plaka Arch Suites.

This property is well located in the Plaka area and thus very walkable to most sites. The host was very kind & helpful. The room was spacious & comfortable. Note this is not a hotel, but more like a guest house.

You really can't beat this hotel if you are looking for something in the heart of Athens. Starting with the staff and especially our host Fanis, he and the entire staff were amazing! Fanis went out of his way to welcome us and help us with everything we needed. The location of the hotel is in the heart of the Plaka district and literally steps away from everything. You can't find a better location.

A small perfectly located b&b-style hotel in the Plaka neighborhood of Athens with many views of the Acropolis all around you. This is an ancient building according to the literature. The rooms are simple, one may say old fashion but clean and the bed was very comfy. The bathroom was updated and had multi spray shower head system, which after a long day exploring Plaka, was greatly appreciated. Breakfast was also included (meats, cheese and eggs, etc.) You cannot beat the area if you want to be fully immersed in the local culture. Note the hotel does not have a restaurant, bar or roof deck but there are many right around the corner. We did have a small balcony with table and 2 chairs. A bottle of wine in our room was complementary which was a nice touch. Please note they did not have a traditional check-in reception area, you checked in at the gelato shop next to the suites, no kidding. If you are looking for a great location and value, this is your hotel.

Lovely Hotel but roof access is room specific
We were excited to stay here but beware - the photo with the view is for a specific room. I booked this hotel for a group of us including my disabled mum. Not reading the small print but the roof access was not for all guests and only for specific rooms. Mum could not walk so wanted a hotel with a view. Unfortunately, thinking I booked the best rooms well in advance did not come with roof access. HOWEVER, beyond this, the staff, service and rooms with balconies we did have were great. Next time I would book the rooms with roof access. Superb location and minutes from everything. A great kiosk opposite selling snacks and drinks 24 hours and the best ice cream store in front of hotel. Breakfast was superb. THANK YOU for a lovely stay and highly recommend.
