Never a bad stay when I come here. A couple things I did not like this time. 1. At check-in the attendant was not welcoming. Normally check ins are great! Not this time. 2. There was some kind of dragon conference and the hotel was packed. I love that for Sonesta, but guests were bad about slamming doors throughout the night. 3. Someone brought their dog into the dining area during breakfast, not ok. 4. We had to switch rooms twice. 1st room the water would not get hot, 2nd room the heat did not work. The room switches were a little chaotic because I turned my keys in and left items in both rooms so I needed additional keys to get back in both rooms. The first attendant that assisted was amazing! The second attendant, not so much. Main thing was I did not like all the questions regarding the room switches. I’d already explained what the issues were. I became agitated when she asked if there was a reason why I wanted to switch, she said they don’t switch rooms without getting the problem resolved and that she could send maintenance. The 1st attendant had already made the switch. We just needed to get our belongings out the other rooms. It made me feel some kind of way. I did not want the other two rooms and for the safety of my sister and I, I did not want anyone in our room. I stay at Sonesta for many factors, customer care is one. I was disappointed this time. I will still be back soon. Hoping it will be better next time.
