Fun amenities - not great for working in your room
Liked the hotel - especially the fun indoor/outdoor bar on the 2nd floor. The service was helpful and friendly. Only small complaint is that if you have work to do this hotel may not be the best choice since the desk is very narrow and the chair super uncomfortable. A task chair (vs wood side chair) would be much more ergonomic!

Property is in poor condition and needs an update. Room is loud and difficult to get a decent night’s sleep in with all of the noise in the surrounding area. I will not be staying here again.

Constant music all day in the pool area, so loud that it made me frustrated trying to sleep in or get work done during my stay. Rooms were ok, but the noise from the music and the guests was close to unbearbable.

The location of this hotel is great and it is very walkable. You have options for dinning and bars and the area seems very cosmopolitan. I did, however, find it unfortunate that the toilettes don't function properly (as in...you couldn't flush your toilet because people buries toilet paper on it). I get it, it is also incumbent upon people to behave like reasonably civilized guests, however, it was my impression that they piping gets obstructed quite easily and it isn't adequate for a hotel like this. It is not like there was tons of paper being flushed down the toilets. At least two of them didn't flush. This is definitively an issue considering that this is more of a "Hostal" type facility where you have to share the bathrooms with other guests in your floor. Those are just my 5 cents.

Was given a room without bathroom and toilet. This is not obvious from the Expedia description. Anyway, I immediately asked for an upgrade to a room with bathroom on arrival and was told I could pay the difference with my credit card from what I already paid through Expedia. A few days later I found that the charged me for the full amount of another room. When I phoned they told me they had no visibility into the charges. Apart from that, whilst the retro boutique look seems nice, our hotel room stunk horribly like mould or something, really taking your breath away as soon as you open the door. Room is all carpet and covered in stains.

Not worth the price. The room was extremely noisy and didn’t feel safe. At 2 a.m., a couple tried to force their way into my room, and it was impossible to contact reception to get security. The music from the pool is so loud during the day that you can’t take a nap in your room, and at night, the noise from outside is even worse.
