Be aware that some rooms don’t have a bathroom. There was only 3 shared bathrooms during my stay (one was out of order). Lengthy waits in the morning to get a shower. Also room was facing the street which was very noisy at night making it hard to sleep.

The stay was good. Property was clean and comfortable. The location was great. The overnight car parking charge was quite hefty($38). Not providing free brekfast was also inconvenient.

I prefer my room to have a restroom and a microwave included. The cabin room didn’t, so it should’ve been made a bit more clear. I’ve never wanted to leave a hotel room that soon. At least I slept pretty well.

The East Austin Hotel staff went out of their way to make our stay delightful - the attentiveness to detail and willingness to go above & beyond to help was worthy of a four star hotel. The restaurant "Second" was remarkably good too - breakfast, lunch and dinner were all terrific. Great place!

The hotel is in a fun and convenient location, making it easy to access dining and bars if that’s your vibe. The property itself is nice, and the rooms are comfortable. However, I found the $34 per night parking fee to be disappointing. Additionally, the windows in the room don’t open, so there’s no way to get fresh air, which was a drawback since the room had a slightly moldy smell. Overall, it’s a decent stay if the location is your priority, but a few aspects could be improved.”

Unacceptable check-in
After a long day of travel, we arrived for check-in at our pre-communicated time of 10PM. When we arrived, no-one was at the front desk. There was a number to call and I called it. It was a corporate call center and she just called the front desk (where I was standing). There was no way to get ahold of the person in charge of check-in (and there were about 10 rooms which had not checked in yet). The person showed up about 15 minutes later, completely unapologetic, unhelpful, nasty and uncaring. This is completely unacceptable (does he not have a cell phone?) for all the obvious reasons. This was unfortunate as the hotel was fun and the room was roomy. Only the room TV was not working well (not a big deal for us). Please improve or better train your staff or it would be difficult to stay here again.
