When we checked into our room we noticed the mirror was cracked. It was late and we didn’t think anything at the time - just went to bed due to an early flight. We checked out and were later notified that we were being charged $500 for the broken mirror which we did not do. We were told it was our word against theirs and there was nothing we could do because their inspector “cleared the room for use” not indicating the mirror was broke. This is a scam. Had their inspector been so great- they would have also noted the broken toilet roll holder and a wash cloth in our bed. It was clear their room inspector just said the room was fine to get out of doing their job. Sadly, it cost us $500. There was also an inch of fuzzy mold inside a decorative shadow box table in the lobby- appears from. Drink that may have been spilled on the glass and seeped inside. Gross.

The staff was smoking marijuana and the whole lobby smelled like it when we checked in. There were 2 hookers that got in my elevator on my way to my room. The beds were rock hard (myself and 2 others agreed). I've stayed at Aloft hotels in other cities, and they've been fine. This was was terrible and won't stay there ever again.

Good hotel, freezing pool

Had a wonderful stay. Very nice hotel. Pool heater was broken very sad I stayed at this hotel to use the pool. Very disappointed with that.

We had one day in Baltimore for an early morning flight. We were a group of 4 generations ranging in age from 1yr to 86. Due to our situation they were more than accommodating for an early check in so we could drop our bags. The front desk staff were kind, helpful, and more than accommodating. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The early morning shuttle was timely and convenient - although the driver had the music incredibly loud and maybe not appropriate for the group of travelers at 5:30 am! We were able to have food delivered for dinner with a nice place in the bar to gather and eat. We did not use the pool, so i cant comment on that. We would stay again

Great, but limited shuttle service

The value was excellent. The one disappointment was the airport shuttle which is available only on a limited basis. It was advertised as having the shuttle and as BWI is a busy international airport, we assumed that it ran almost round the clock. Our flight was delayed and so by the time we arrived we just wanted to reach our hotel. Ultimately we had to find a taxi in order to get there.
