Overall staff was polite and professional. The hotel needed some up leep, my room needed a deep cleaning and dusting of the corners of the room, carpet needed cleaning or stesming. Shower door did not close completely and a piece of folded cardboard was placed btwn headboard and post as there was a piece of wood or material missing. The pool water was cloudy and needed to be cleaned. The rest room in the pool area was out of order. The rest of the facility looked ok...clean lobby and hallways. Outside hotel was clean as well.
Other Aloft properties are better and rooms felt cramped.

This hotel is conveniently located to airport and has a nice van ride to take you there. Staff seemed deflated, including van driver. Room design is the exceptional ALoft you expect, but maintenance is lacking. Wood surfaces fully stuffed up, electrical outlets falling out, mirror cracked with reflecting finish flaking off from its back side.
Awful. I had to change rooms twice. After the second room change I tried to chat with someone on Expedia to refund my money to go to another hotel. That got no where. I didn't have another 150$ to get another room. The front desk person tried to find me suitable accommodations since I was getting no where with Expedia with an exchange to another place. This hotel is in need of everything. The first room shower door hinges were coming off, 2nd room had a mattress that should be reported to the health department which I plan to do and the third room was better than the previous 2. It took 3 hours to finally settle in. I reached out to Marriott to make them aware of my situation. The star rating for this establishment should be a 2.
When i got there, she was not friendly at all, told me she didn’t had room the. She game a special needs room with 2 beds and not the king i paid for, she gave me the room key and ask me do you need anything else? I replied yes , are you going to tell me my room number ? What floor am i supposed to go , where the elevators. Like nothing , so unprofessional and room was dirty i regretted staying here.
My stay was terrible because I had a family emergency come up during the time to check in and I attmepted to speak with the auto generated help assistant and was denied a refund.
I've never stayed at an Aloft before. I really liked it. The layout of the rooms was really neat. The room was welcoming, tidy and clean. I would stay here again for sure.
We booked a double queen room. Upon our arrival they did not have the room we booked and tried to give us a king room with no pull out. We had booked the room for our family of four.
They did not give us a heads up or call so we had to scramble for a new hotel late at night with young children. The front desk staff also didn’t seem to care very much that we didn’t have a place to sleep
Our check in was great. And property was close to dining facilities as well as local convenient stores. However, our room carpet smelled like a pet was in our room. We don’t notice until we returned to our room around 1 am since we checked in around 2 PM and left back out to head to our appointment.

We were unable to check in because as soon as we arrived, we were told that they only had a king room available with no sofa bed for a family of four. We drove all the way from Virginia to Maryland for my husband’s Father’s Day gift. They had to cancel my reservation and we had to find another hotel at the last minute because they had given our double bedroom to another customer. We reserved our room two months ago if not longer. I am very unhappy with the service of this hotel. They had no remorse or care on the fact that they had sent a family of four to another hotel because they had decided that money at the moment was much more important than waiting for their reservation to check in.
