Book Ban Mae Khon hotels

We visited in the middle of December and stayed the night. The place was peaceful and welcoming. A delicious breakfast was waiting for us in the morning. In terms of location, it's perfect provided you have your own vehicle. Highly recommend staying here.

Wonderful stay in a beautiful location, based in the heart of the forest and mountains. Malee and Kurt were lovely hosts and shared their expert knowledge about local nature and botany with us.

Our friends, visiting us, stayed here. They said it is the best hotel they have ever stayed in.

Fantastic place! Lovely staff; everyone very kind and helpful. Lots to do around and it’s easy to get a car at the hotel. Some of the amenities are not working though, like the jacuzzi or the treadmill

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL! BEWARE! Had to drive 1.5 hours on a motoscooter back to Chiang Mai at 1:30am because the rooms are infested with GIANT ants in the beds, and hundreds of small ants in the bathroom. They tried to move us to a different room and right when I walked in a giant ant crawled across the pillow on the bed.They offered to place me in a "different area/room", if i paid them more money! They essentially tried to extort money out of me just so I could have a non- infested hotel room. I've tried to get a refund from hotels.com because of the infestation and the fact I never even slept there- but they refuse.The hotel and hotels.com refuse to take any responsibility. At this point I'm forced to litigate the situation just to get my money back.
