I liked how everything around the hotel was convenient to access. I didn’t like how it wasn’t wheel chair/stroller friendly. Rooms were nothing special nor the breakfast they provided, breakfast was a huge let down since they didn’t have many option. I was hoping better for the breakfast since it’s a charge on us. I will say the showers in the hotel were amazing, but over all i wouldn't recommend.

Check in was slow. We had reserved three rooms two were ready and one was not, however we were told that one room was available on a different floor to save us waiting. When we went into this room it was small with a huge pillar in the middle of the room, the shower was broken. We returned to reception and dealt with a very nice young man and was given a different room. One of the other rooms was a connecting room and the people in the room next door were making noise till after three in the morning. The rooms have basic amenities and are oddly shaped, some are extremely small and some are larger. It was raining one day and we asked if they had umbrellas only to be told by a rude man to go and buy one at the shop. We have stayed in hotels all over the world and have never had this attitude. The seats in reception are all stained and in need of a good clean.

This is not nearly a 4.5 star property. The room was not in good condition. The curtains were stained and the doors to the closet and minibar area were chipped. The bathroom lacked amenities such as shampoo, hair conditioner, body lotion, Q tips, box of tissues. There was a shaving razor kit that was left over perhaps from someone else’s stay. Large bottles of liquid soap was provided in the shower and sink area. There was not anything to write on or a pen/pencil to used to write with. It would have been nice to have a coffee pot in the room which many hotels provide such as a Nespresso coffee maker. Although the room was small, there was plenty of hangers in the closet and a good amount of space to put away personal belongings. The complementary breakfast was ok for European standards. I did not venture out to the pool area or bar. The positive things were the location and the drinks that were provided in the complementary mini bar. The staff was pleasant and tried to be helpful. I appreciated having a taxi outside the door when leaving for the airport.

Room was very small with a pillar at the foot of the bed. For a 4 star hotel, they had a combined bath and shampoo gel container in the bathroom, no conditioner, no lotion. Could barely get a comb through my hair after washing it with their gel. Not a good experience.

Barca in feb.
Good hotel room, bathroom was v.small shower tray leaking. Breakfast was expensive considering what is available near by for better quality and cost. Pool and sauna and roof top bar were a welcome addition

Hotel in great location and friendly staff. However, I am disappointed with the fact that when making the booking, nothing was stated about the rooftop pool and bar being under maintenance. This meant that the facilities were not available during the whole of our stay in which for my instance was the main selling point for my choice of hotel.

We had a fantastic stay at the Negresco Princess in Barcelona. The staff, especially Laura at the front desk, went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. Laura was incredibly helpful when we discovered our bed was two twins instead of a king. Despite the lifts being flooded, the staff remained attentive and kind and fixed it instantly. The hotel's central location was a definite plus, and we were captivated by the stunning rooftop pool, complete with a bar and sauna. It provided a truly enjoyable experience. We highly recommend staying at this hotel. A special thanks to Laura for her exceptional hospitality and warm-hearted demeanor. As for the rooms, they were spacious and well-appointed. We loved the fridge, which came with five complimentary drinks that were replenished daily. The coffee machine and delightful-smelling toiletries added to our comfort. Additionally, the room provided a disposable toothbrush, toothpaste, and a shaving set in case we forgot anything.

Nice rooftop hotel right in the centre
Great modern Hotel, nice modern bar area with live music in the evening, fantastic views from rooftop, but pool is very small, reception staff are very friendly and helpful, we had a standard room first which had no daylight we changed to a superior room afterwards but when shown it was a triple room which we didn’t like so we got another one than which we took it was grand but had a massive pillar in front of the window, that was disappointing as well, bathroom could have been cleaner, breakfast was kind of basic, no musli or porridge ..
