This property had an aesthetically pleasing vibe, but it felt like we were stuck in an influencer’s ad. The check in was slow and a bit unfriendly, the breakfast was expensive, the rooftop pool looked amazing but was murky and overcrowded, the rooms were not soundproof and jazz music and body spray pervaded the hallways. It had a lot of potential, but just didn’t deliver on the night we stayed.

Standard hotel, lifts dreadful, only 1 working. Rooftop pool area very small and the artificial grass around it smelt pretty bad. Staff friendly . Rooms on the smaller side but clean and comfy. Shower area a good size but drain smell pretty bad.

This property was great. Friendly, helpful staff. Great area and right on the train line. Only cons….the pool was a bit small…and there was a speaker in the hallway outside our door that played music too loud, that started way to early and played way too late. But would definitely stay here again when I return.

The location was excellent, close to the public transportation options. The view from the rooftop bar was beautiful. Decor and layout were very comfortable. Rooms were light, airy, and cool. Definitely would stay here again.

This hotel is flawless
As somone who stays in hotels alot I always have an issue, this one I must say its perfect in everyscence - great location amazing view from room, great ammeties including nespresso tea, ammenties in the toilet, excelent service. Parking is also helpfull as its right inside the hotel. View from pool is amazing.

We were very impressed by Occidental 1929. Superb facilities, huge comfy bed, lots of little extras like water and fruit in reception (much appreciated after a full day exploring.) Love the roof terrace and pool. Friendly and attentive staff. We’ll be back. Only negative is lack of storage/drawers in room but positives by far outweigh that.

We stayed for one night prior to setting sail on a Mediterranean cruise. The location was perfect as it was on a steet with multiple shopping and dinning options. Our room was on the 8th floor and was cozy, clean and very up to date. The breakfast was excellent and the staff were warm and friendly. I would definitely stay here again if i came back to Barcelona and had more time to explore the beautiful city.
