Tired place that needs attention!
I will not stay there next time in Birmingham! The rate seemed high but I thought maybe it's nice. If it would have been I would not be complaining. There are a few reasons I don't sleep in my car, (being sarcastic) I want a bed, TV and a shower. The bed was extra soft and seemed like it needed to be replaced. The TV was extra small and in need of an update. The shower was the absolute tipping point for me. The lavatory hot water got very hot but I ran the hot water in the shower and the controller is goofed up. I couldn't get hot water and gave up after 20 minutes. I'm sure I'm not the first to point this out. I complained and after five days the manager still hadn't got back to me. I mentioned that I want him to go take a shower in that room. I want a refund for this substandard tired room.

The toilet was broken and ran continuously. The floor of the shower was not attached to the underflooring and buckled when stepped on. No ice bucket, no ice maker. What was advertised on the website was not what was delivered. The shuttle driver did not even deign to get out of the drivers seat to help with bags.

Gross, dirty, didn’t even want to touch anything. There were stains all over the bed and the room smelled horribly of cigarette smoke, so I had to move rooms and it all is still so dirty

Appeared to be drug exchange in parking lot on our arrival with same kind of clientel inside the hotel hallways. Disgustingly filthy dirty restaurant area. Dirty and stinky room including roaches and hair on the bed linens as well as dried liquid on the wall next to the bed with part of the bed frame hanging out about 3 inches from the bed. We were unable to stay at this property.

It was a quiet and fairly clean property, but definitely needs to be upgraded. Staff at both check in and out were okay. The beds were clean and comfortable, seemingly new floor tile in the room and the a/c and tv worked well. Our bathroom faucets were leaky, there was a random jacket in our closet (whose doors did not stay closed), and a portable ozone generator in the room. Just a sad, old, worn out feeling to the room. Worked for a late arrival overnight stay.

It seems like renovations are being done, but VERY dated and not good condition. The staff were great, water pressure was strong. The bed and pillows were comfortable and clean. There were 2 parts of thrle metal bed frame sticking out and I cut mu leg.

This hotel is the worst. They say they offer breakfast & do not. Housekeeping did not enter the room- no clean towels & had to go to the front desk to get them. On our last night we were told “go straight to your room & don’t go in the 3rd floor.” Trying to address this with the hotel was useless so we turned to Expedia. They dodged Expedia as well. Found out after it was a swingers party on the third floor. Absolutely awful. DO NOT STAY HERE

Misleading description on Expedia, this hotel has rooms barely refreshed, with non working equipment, found bed bugs the first night and had to be moved to another room, advertised that breakfast was included, but no breakfast was available during our stay, front desk staff was no help in resolving issues, in summary it was disgraceful, would never go back there. I was traveling with other friends from Europe who shared the same bad experience with their room. We asked for refund or discount at checkout, and were told manager would get in touch, but doubt it will happen, hoping Expedia will step in to make it right.
