Lumley House is a lovingly restored period home with modern features within a 4 minute walk to Bright's iconic splash park, the beautiful Ovens River, Bright's famous brewery, cafes, shops and walking and biking trails.
With four large bedrooms, two lounge rooms, a modern kitchen, log fire , swimming pool, outdoor entertaining area, secure courtyard with fire pit and a lockable bike shed, Lumley House offers luxury and proximity to all you need for your holiday.
Built in 1898 this beautiful house was one of the first in Bright, and was relocated to the prime position to the river and town that it now occupies. Our renovation has focused on providing modern luxuries and enhancing beautiful period features.
Lumley House has 4 bedrooms sleeping 10 in all configurations for couples, families and groups, 2 living areas, large kitchen, swimming pool secure courtyard and large garden. The house is configured as follows;
Groundfloor:
-Bedroom 1 - en-suite and king bed that can split into two singles.
-Bedroom 2 - king bed that can split into two singles.
-Bedroom 3 - king bed that can split into two singles.
-Large modern country kitchen with large fridge, dishwasher, oven, microwave and cooktop.
-Open plan living and dining with 55inch flat screen TV with huge sliding doors opening to the swimming pool. (Watch the kids in the pool from the comfort of the couch!). Cosy Log fire .
-Large bathroom with shower, bath and separate toilet.
-Fully functional laundry with washing machine.
Upstairs:
-Lounge/games room with TV, books, games etc. Perfect for the kids to be entertained while the adults enjoy some time downstairs (and a fold out sofa if needed!)

Outdoors:
- In-ground swimming pool with paved and grassed area
- Outdoor entertainment area with BBQ and seating
- Separate side courtyard with fire pit and seating and secure gates .

-If you are traveling with little people let us know so we can arrange for a porta-cot at no extra charge. *Please note your will need to bring your own cot linen etc.
Guest access
Guests have full access of the house. When booking please advise me of your bedding requirements i.e. king beds or kings singles (couples/singles).
*Please note additional guests after 6 are charged an additional fee per person /per night .
Interaction with guests
We live in Bright, however, we believe that you want to be left on your own to enjoy your holiday (and we believe you will have everything you need to do so). There is so much to do in Bright and surrounds that we provide information to assist deciding (and some local secrets!). If you need us for anything we are only a phone call away.
Other things to note
The house has a fully lockable shed equipped with bike hooks, work stand and a set of tools. It can also store your ski's, inflatable toys (to wander down to the river with) or any other adventure toys that you need to bring on your holiday.
