This place is incredibly charming. The morning breakfast is very German, and the staff are very kind and welcoming. I felt like as though i walked into a building that wouldve been modern 500 years ago, and I loved it. The stairs are steep, and not ADA accessible in any way, but I appreciated that aswell. Overall a lovely stay. Transportation: If youre renting a car, theynhave free parking. There are bus stops nearby (5 minute walk) and a bike rental that I didnt get to check out. My primary reason for this stay was for the German experience, the staff do happen to speak some english, but its definitely easier to communicate in German, so study up if youre an Ausländer!

My two teenage boys and I had a lovely time at this beautiful place. Our hosts were so friendly and really went the extra mile to make us feel at home and show us around. The village was stunning and fabulously quiet - we saw hummingbird moths, birds of prey and murmurations of starlings. As a base from which to explore Berlin some days and be able to return to rural tranquillity in the evenings, it was great, with good public transport links. I particularly loved just sitting outside to have my morning cup of coffee and drink in the surroundings.
