Suits us perfectly
Loved the place. A little tatty in places but perfect location, great gym and pool with helpful staff. Great place for a little self catering but breky available if you want. Some noise from stag hostel next door and only one lift but seriously thinking of coming back mid winter for spa break. Loved budapest but railway taxis are thieves!

Looks good on paper but wouldn't recommend
The hotel looks good on paper. It has the potential to be really good but it was very disappointing. The room was quite spacious and the check in was very quick. That was about the only positives. When we arrived the wifi didn't work, which we asked the reception about. They gave us a hotspot device which didn't work either. So no internet for us. The TV only had four channels in Hungarian which is less than ideal for visitors who don't speak it (I am assuming most wouldn't). The bed was so hard that we had bad backs every morning. There was a lot of noise in the neighbourhood until quite late (2-3 AM) due to the number of local bars and clubs. The last two points are less than ideal for someone who is there to run a half marathon the next day. The noise continued into the hotel and our floor, people were shouting and singing on our corridor, but the room didn't have a phone to call reception. In the morning we checked out and were told the card machine wasn't working so we had to take money out from the conveniently placed cashpoint outside of the hotel. We refused and had to leave our card details for the charge to be made later. Finally, we had asked the receptionist to order a taxi for us. She forgot, so we had to rush to the train station. Overall, a very bad experience so we wouldn't recommend it to anyone or go back. All of this and we had to pay 20 euros to check out one hour late. Ridiculous.

Nice hotel with great access to public fransport
As an apartment hotel great value with loads of space. Easy to get to from airport by public transport. Staff friendly and helpful . Street it stands on is just second street back from Andrassy Avenue but is somewhat shabby and run down this was not a problem though and the hotel itself was modern and bright. Tip use Octagon metro stop it is closer than Opera

Good facilities with very helpful staff
We were a family of 2 adults and 2 teens. Apartment was at the front of building so yes there was some street noise at club closing time but not excessive. The apartments the,selves were really well sound proofed from other apartments. Shower and bath in the bathroom were of excellent quality. Wifi connection also reliable in the room. The central location was ideal and we walked everywhere easily. For food we had breakfast on site the first day which had a good choice but not good coffee. Remainder of time we used the bakery for great coffee and pastries which is located turn left out of main entrance then first left and its 2nd shop on right. The gymn was well equippped with a good range of free weights and equipment. It wa busy at times but no waiting for equipment. The pool was a good size and the jacuzzi, steam and sauna room were avilable. Open hours were 6 am to 10pm weekdays so we made full use most days. Whilst you were welcome to use the towels provided in your apartment, I'd recommend bringing your own for pool use. We had a family emergency whilst at the hotel with one of our party. The reception staff went above and beyond to offer their help and reassurance. I cannot thank them enough.

hotel very central for touring Budapest.
we were 3 girlfiends meeting up for a getaway in Budapest. We had a wonderful time touring around, and used the Hop on, Hop Off 2 day ticket which included a boat trip on the Danube. It was a great way to see the city.

Excellent on a budget!
This review is in mind that I went on a girly sightseeing holiday and not a partying one! This hotel is excellent if you are looking for a budget place to stay that still has class. It's very modern, the spa facilities are excellent and clean, and the staff are really lovely. If it wasn't for one gentleman on reception recommending places to go we wouldn't have seen half the wonders of Budapest that we did. One of the days we spent in their spa and had each had massages, which was beyond excellent and at a brilliantly cheap price. The flat itself is very spacious, warm and basically has everything you need. They clean it every day leave enough of everything e.g towels. You get above and beyond what you pay for in terms of this. The only downsides are the location. Although in the centre of Budapest and a close walk to everything, the hotel entrance itself is on a dark back Street which was hard to initially find and sometimes intimidating, especially in the evening, as there were a lot of people just standing around and homeless on the street. Also, bring earplugs - it is directly above a club that plays quite horrific 'Grime' music until 12pm every night, and right beside a backpackers hostel who liked to get drunk and howl songs until 3am. But if that's the sort of thing you'd enjoy then it's cracking!

Brilliant! Comfortable, affordable and friendly.
Could not fault this hotel whatsoever! The receptionists were so friendly and helpful, offering a fast check in and out service and booking us a taxi to the airport. Although other reviews I read complained about noise from th street there was hardly any and certainly not enough to keep you up at night! The room had a real wow factor, very comfortable and spacious with great self-catering facilities. The bathroom and bedroom were clean, comfortable and even slightly luxurious! Brilliant hotel in a lively area, in a very central location.

Everything you want, in walking distance
On first glance, the neighbourhood appeared to be a bit dodgy, but within a couple of minutes walk, it turned out to be terrific, lots of bistros and restaurants, close to a lot of sights, shopping and transport. We were so happy to have picked this apartment as every time we walked out the door within 5-10 minutes we were in the middle of such an exciting city. Loved our stay.

Great budget hotel
Pros: large, clean rooms, great to have an apartment, close to all the main tourist attractions, we were able to walk most of the time. Cons: very close to a backpackers pub, so was often a little noisy at night.

We had two apartments at city gardens and two different experiences. One was quiet and small. The other was much better appointed but also not quiet. In fact we moved twice in 5 days. It wasn't the fault of the hotel but rather the very noisy bar next door. The first night the noise was constant from midnight until four thirty. The second night was ruined by a noisy school party in the next room who enjoyed loud music and shouting. This was dealt with by hotel security staff. The final room at the back was quieter and more conducive to sleep. Staff were very helpful.

Great apartment
We are vegan, so self catering in a meat eating capital is easier, and our HUGE, well resourced apartment made our stay a restful one. Lovely quiet apartment , tv with Sky news (in English). Use of gym and pool - though this was always very busy as it was used by other members. Helpful reception staff. No phone in room -so we had to walk down to reception a few times. Good location near good transport links and the area had what we needed (including a very good vegan restaurant). Would recommend and would be happy to stay there again if I ever went back to Budapest.

We stayed here with two teenagers. We were given a room on the second floor at the front. The size was great and the facilities very good. The room had everything we needed with plenty of storage space. The bathroom was super too. It is a busy place to stay - the pool and gym were busy at times but there were times when I had the pool to myself. It was lovely! I would definitely stay here again but I would ask for a room at the back and on a higher floor as the street noise disturbed me a few times (I am a light sleeper and it didn't wake our children!). The towels are changed every 3 days and although bins are emptied, toilet rolls replenished etc, it is up to you to keep the room clean (this was my experience in our four night stay but it might be that we were in when they wanted to clean the room and I didn't request this service).

Loved this place. Had our own kitchen and a flat screen TV. Location was dgood. Close to the centre of the city and it was about 20 minutes from the chain bridge. The spa and gym was just amazing. Loved every bit of it.

Perfect venue for a girls weekend
The only negative is that it can be very noisy. I slept through most of it but my friends often heard shouting from a bar close by. The hotel itself was great so I think it was well worth it. Great value for money.
