Property is very centrally located: from the airport we took the 100E bus and then walked from the stop. The M2 metro line stops right outside the hotel, there is Lidl and other supermarkets near the hotel. Bus to go to Szherchenyi bath is also very easy to get. We had nice weather so decided to walk all the way to the Danube and crossed to Buda, before taking the M2 back.
The hotel occupies 2 floors of an old quaint beautiful building, which I love. It's a shame that the building isn't maintained very well, early morning there is surface water/localised flood on the ground floor as if water was leaking from the drain pipe?
The bathroom is old and could do with an upgrade. There is fridge, kettle, and a complimentary bottle of Hungarian wine. The TV actually has Netflix(!).
Unfortunately as it is by a busy main street/square, when you open the windows you can hear noise from the street. But the windows are thick and quite well soundproofed. If it's too hot and you don't wanna open the window, you can turn on the AC in the room.
