Horrific establishment
Booked a 4 night stay and checked out after the FIRST night - losing the entirety of our money because the hotel failed to offer any incentive or even offer a partial refund! This hotel is dirty, cheap, run down and outright disgusting. Their hospitality is lackluster, food and drink are the equivalent to a buffet. This is a glorified motel, the photos are completely misleading. After 5 minutes of walking in our room, our feet turned black. The manager failed to make us feel welcome or offer a consolation to enjoy the rest of our stay. Zero accommodations were honored during our one day stay. We couldn’t get out of there fast enough! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The MARQUIS!

Ocean view was spectacular. Variety of food was great however, could have a little more quality. Transportation to any area of the resort was outstanding. The staff always respectful and helpful. Don’t fall for their property “timeshare” with incentives offer unless you like high pressure sales. Resort is located on a no swim beach area which was not attractive to us. Overall nice property hosted by an amazing staff.

Room smelled like mold. I tood the hotel and just came to spray air freshner. There was water leaking from pur hallway ceiling i notified the front nothing was done. My elder father got wayer on his head thatvwas nasty.

Poor quality food. Service sucks. The bar tenders are not friendly. No coffee in the room and when ordered from room service, it takes about an hour to get it. Overall, this VIP and all inclusive is a joke. As when you try to get some thing you like, it's an upcharge always with a * next to menu.

This was my 2nd time here and all Ican say is its one of the best resorts in Cabos. I love this place all the amenities you have. I would recommend this place to everyone. The service is beyond amazing hands down. Gracia Glezme was beyond helpful and assisted me with everything i needed at any time via WhatsApp!! I will be comign back again!!!

Positive: -Very clean. I read negative comments on cleanliness but I did not personally see it -Beautiful views -Good food -Pool service (especially Allan at main pool) was outstanding! Negative: -Extreme time share sales pitch. I have been bothered upon arrival at other resorts before, but at Sunset, they do not stop. It's every time you walk in the lobby, and even while you are eating breakfast. It's way too much. The aggressive sales push alone is enough to make me not want to go back -The hotel will upcharge you every chance they get. We had a mysterious $11 charge on our hotel bill, which they said was for the hotel 'charity foundation'. We asked to have it removed, which they did. Check your bill before you leave! -Beach was VERY windy and you can not swim in ocean as it's too dangerous. I understand, but we missed it

We loved our stay everyone was very friendly, the property was beautiful and the food was great. The only thing would have been better is if they would have had more shopping on the property. It's not that conventient to leave the property to do that...as a whole it was just wonderful..

I like the amenities, everyone is helpful and nice you feel safe and no need to leave the resort you have everything you need in one place. Only thing I disliked is the workers trying to constantly get you to do the timeshare seminar last thing you want is people bugging when your there on vacation.
