Suite was spacious and plenty of room for our family of 4, and lots of stoeage space too. However, the bathoroom was tiny in comparison! Staff were friendly and helpful. We found the location was good and plenty of places to eat within an easy walking distance. The rooms were not very soundproof and we had particularly noisy neighbours one evening as well as domeone with a very loud, barking dog.

Very nice concierge, reasonable price for downtown calgary but noisy AC machine and noisy streets, big gaps under the door, noisy hallways. Good for a basic, no frills stay.

Family holiday

The hotel is in the middle of Downtown Calgary and gave us excellent access to restaurants, shops and attractions. The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. The hotel is dated and the appliances were all suffering from age. The iron didn't steam, the fridge compressor was loose and sounded like it was trying to get loose, the kettle needed an extra jiggle yo get the cord working and the sofa was tired. Nothing was bad, just tired and in need of replacing. The beds were comfortable but the pillows have seen better days. The aircon/heater is window mounted and noisey and the curtains don't quite close around them. A good hotel but needs updating. Could not fault the staff.

The only thing we liked about this hotel was the location. Nice central location, easy for us to find and get to our appointments. I did not request a kitchenette suite, as I find them extremely depressing, and unclean. The bed itself was comfortable, and I chose to stay only in the bedroom area.

Everything was great, the room and the area. Only feedback is to maintain your entrance after it snows. I had to floor it just to get into the semi circle entrance. I'm lucky I didn't lose my oil pan in was definitely not safe. But, I didn't want to stop in the road on a busy street to notify them.

Very helpful staff and nice room. Everything was clean and almost all necesities were available. The only downside is that, even during winter, it can get quite hot in the room if the airconditioning is not on. Apart from that, great place to stay and within walking distance of the city centre and parks.
