There are not a lot of options to eat. The Albatroz restaurant requires a 24hr reservation, and it’s the same dinner menu. We had a party of 8, and 4 of us ended up getting sick due to the food. On our last night, my husband and I woke up around 2:00 am due to a noise. It took them 1.5 hrs to finally give us another room to be able to sleep with our boys. However, the wanted us to pack everything at 3:00 am to be able to get a new key to a different room. After arguing at the front desk, they gave us another room to be able to sleep. The noise was coming from the room downstairs and it sounded like a loud clock. It was very loud. The staff at the buffet and restaurant were very nice though. All in all, I will pay more money next time and stay at a better hotel.

Had the worst stay! Very old dirty property, half the things were not working in my room. Customer service was terrible.. so was the food.. was so hard to even get a coffee from them. They were even in charge of the Starbucks inside and most of the time no one was there and you would have to try to hunt one of the workers down. Pictures were definitely a catfish. One night asked for water bottle and they said no.. you have to pay for it and said sure and they said you’ll get it in the morning not now. Just many bad experiences, the price should have been a lot lower then the amount we spent here

Pros: The property is nice, the beach is absolutely beautiful and long. If you like taking long walks on the beach, you found your place. The restaurant and Bar service were excellent, props to CHRISTIAN AND JOSÉ AT the bar CHRISTIAN always made sure our mini fridge was full. Cons: The rooms on the “lagoon” side are very outdated and near the road,, so very very noisy when the traffic is high. Difficult to get someone to come clean the room/ get clean towels/ get toilet paper …We had to go steal toilet paper off a cart. The food wasn’t great except for the pizza place. We had pizza every day!

Room was very filthy, looked like black mold around the ac, the balcony door didn’t lock, toilet didn’t flush , mini fridge broken, the took 2 hours to get us checked in so we arrived at 3 pm on dec 25, 2024 and only got our room at 5 pm. They sent us to TWO occupied rooms before that. Horrible mean management at the front desk. Would not change our rooms, no apologies for any of the unprofessional and unacceptable conditions! Nightmare vacation!

This was the worst experience I have ever had at a hotel. Moldy rooms horrible food rude staff. No wifi, no hot water, toilet didn’t flush I had to fill the garbage can with water to flush. The amenities listed are not true. Worst hotel in Cancun

We visited flamingo for the first time for one week and we really enjoyed the food at the buffet and other choices. House keeping is not done properly, staff don’t speak English so if we request something no idea show to respond. After cleaning the rooms no new towels put. Rooms are in bad shape specially beds are very noisy, bath rooms really needs to renovate always plugs the tub, balcony door can’t even open, phone was not working so I had to complain every time at the office but responses were not good. They take the message but job is not being done. Food and staff at the restaurants are good.

There were NO lounge chairs around the main pool. Very disappointing..relaxing wasn't easy. Also, limited chairs on the beach. Water would go out in the middle of a shower, toilet broke, a/c was one temperature...FREEZING! Staff was not very helpful. Everything was "tomorrow". Reservations were impossible in the Albatross restaurant. Food was very good in the main dining room (buffet) and they were open long hours. Pizza was great too. I'm not sure I will return for the price. Rooms were clean, but old beat up furniture.

Lovely beach, would recommend!
PERFECT beach! It's worth it just for that. The food was not stellar but not bad, typical all inclusive food. Same for the drinks (weren't great). But, they made up for it with a complimentary bottle of champagne, that was very special! Loved my beach view. I'd stay here again. Bus stop to the central bus station is right outside the hotel and comes every 5 minutes. Can't speak for the entertainment because I was only there one night on a Thursday and there was nothing planned that night.

Only thing I like about the property is the beach.It is clean and beautiful. Please take look at the google reviews of the hotel before you book. This hotel is not cheap compared to other all inclusive hotels in Cancun. Property is worn out. Our room floor was not cleaned. You could clearly see the stains. Sheets were fresh. Bathroom shower head with green mineral buildup due to lack of cleaning. Water was leaking into the dry area. Room had WiFi , but did not work during the stay. Food was ok. Only two restaurants available. Snack bar with drinks and tacos was good. Buffet was below average and food items were repetitive. My overall experience was below average. Only book if you do not have other options available.

We stayed seven nights in December 2024. Property is in a nice and quiet area, people are cooperative and helpful. Hotel is clean with clean beach. Room was cleaned almost every day. On the first night we were in a room with huge noise from an adjacent machine. We complained and was moved to a quieter area. It is surprising why management did not solve this problem because it affects several rooms also.

The staff was generally friendly although many of them did not speak English so communicating was a little difficult but we got by, not a huge problem. The maintenance on the property seriously needs to be stepped up. In our bathroom we had black mould-like splatter on the ceiling. Shower curtain rod was all calcified on one end. No outlets on the wall where the beds were. Extension cord provided was very unsafe having been electrical taped together with no ground wire. Wet clothes hanging wire had no anchor on opposite side and would not extend all the way anyways. Provided towel rack was loose on the wall. Hot water did not work the first night. Nothing critical (except the hot water, that’s janky) but definitely shows a lack of care or possibly budget for maintaining the property. Food was decent, the star of the show being the pizza. Rented a cabana one day and the service was fantastic and the food selection was good. Definitely could have used more chairs around the pool areas. Overall, not terrible but not great.
