Our family met here for a rare family vacation and it was wonderful. Even our picky eaters enjoyed the food well enough. This beach is the nicest one I’ve stayed on in Cancun. The rooms were good but two thoughts about them: don’t stay on the side over the Riu Party unless you don’t mind being awake until 11 on party nights. Also, the double beds are a tight squeeze for even an adult and a child. My four year old fit on the little couch just fine thankfully. Though some in our party put two adults per bed idk. The resort is a short walk to the Ultramar ferry to Isla Mujeres. This resort isn’t as family friendly as some (small kiddie pool, no slides, etc) but it was fine for us since the littles were just so excited to be together on the beach. Everyone on staff was so professional and friendly, it was remarkable. I highly recommend this property.

I loved the beautiful view from my suite! It had a huge balcony and chairs to sit and have a drink! The room was huge, renovated, and super clean! Staff was very polite, and resort was super clean and modern. I also enjoyed the Riu themed parties! Make sure you join the fun by taking your outfit based on the theme (white party, jungle, pink, etc.) I also loved the Michael Jackson show at Calypso. Not to mention that I attended my cousin's destination wedding during my stay here, and everything was beautiful! I also liked the food variety at the Coral restaurant, as well as the other places available there. To me, this is more of a fun place for adults. Even though I did see some children there and I believe they did have some type of entertainment for them too. Overall, I loved my experience here!

Loved most of it! Only thing is you can hear noise from the room. And also food quality is not consistent all day of the week.

I didnt like that the beach closes at 6 pm, the pool at 7 pm and dinner at 9:30 pm. After that there is nothing to do at night. Parties are only on certain days but if thats the only option. Very windy and rainy at times, so if ur not able to go outside, not much to do inside. The staff and food and the cleanliness was great! Had no problems there. Wish there was more selection for sushi, but otherwise the steakhouse was amazing and our favourite! The experience was great, i just wish there was things to do at night besides just the party. There is a market open until 10 pm, but thats about it!

Highly recommend this hotel! All inclusive food and drinks are amazing! The pool and beach is very suitable for everyone as well and we had a relaxing and amazing time! We looked forward to coming back to our room for a good night sleep. And additionally, the crew was very accommodating and nice! They all work so hard to keep the hotel clean and always ensures to give us good service! 10/10 recommend!

The cleanliness of the property was great. Rooms were a bit small. The pools were constantly really cold. With the weather a bit cold as well at least the pools could have been heated. I contacted them about it and they said that the heater was broke for the pools. That wasted 3 days of our trip

Riu Caribe was a great hotel, the staff was very friendly, helpful and understanding. Our first room (which was on the 3rd floor) did not have a good view, so we requested a room change, and got one at the 8th floor for free. The staff also helped me plan a surprise bouquet for an occasion during our stay. There is no coffee shop at the hotel, but you can get coffee from the Sports Bar on the mail floor which is 24 hours.

Everyone was so friendly and nice. There was never a moment that you saw a staff member bothered or unhappy. Great customer service in every department, check in , bartender, restaurant staff housekeeping ALL REALLY GREAT. Only thing I would have enjoyed better would be having g the pools open until later.

The beach was covered with palm trees which provided ample shade. Seaweed was cleaned up daily and was very tolerable. At all the pools, guests could choose areas of sun or shade amongst rows of lounge chairs. All my interactions with staff were wonderful. They were warm, friendly, helpful and made me feel welcomed. Tony, who led the fitness classes, was entertaining and a lot of fun. I enjoyed the variety of food choices at the large buffet. Service there and at the restaurants was excellent. I would choose Riu again.

Beautiful beach and water. Friendly staff. Very clean. Daily housekeeping and reception very prompt with requests. Great food selection and the restaurants were very good. The steak house was our favourite. Overall 10/10 would definitely stay at Riu Caribe again.

Very good service, access to the beach, swimming pools and entertainment programs, food available all the time, good bars. Too much food if you are can't control yourself.
