The outside staff running the jet skis and Hobbie Cat sailing were very rude and not eager to help or answer any questions. They Did not show us how to sail or operate the craft, just had us pay and sent us out into the ocean. We had to figure it out on our own and had trouble getting back to shore due to lack of wind. The staff within the restaurants was very friendly and eager to please. Gym and spa were very clean and nice.

Everything was great. Staff was very attentive and friendly. Maid service was exceptional. Food was well prepared and plentiful as were the drinks. . The only downside was that some of the entertainment options were less than expected. Old videos and games are not really current. I did expect more the "cruise ship" type shows with music, magicians, comics. Your staff dance review was fun and professional. A plus vacation.

I would definitely recommend the Hotel Riu Palace Las Americas to anyone going to Cancun. I give it 5 stars in cleanliness (the staff were constantly cleaning morning-night) I give it 5 stars for food (a wide variety with 6 different restaurants with excellent food) I give it 5 stars for service (from the welcoming staff to the waiters, bartenders, and housekeeping, everyone was very polite and accommodating) I give it 5 stars for location (the hotel is across the street from a few convenient stores and 2 blocks from the ferry to Isla Murjeres) I give it 5 stars for the beauty (the ocean and beach area are beautiful as well as the 3 pools and the decor in the building) I give it 5 stars for entertainment (there was frequent activities at one of the pools and nightly shows) The only negative for me was the King bed (it was 2 doubles put together which made it difficult to sleep toward the middle of the bed). Please invest in true king beds, and your hotel will be perfect.

Everything about this place was an amazing experience. Beautiful/breath taking! If I had a complaint it would be the food. It’s pretty bland. Mostly I think I am a great cook lol! Secondly I’m from the states where we consume foods w tons of chemicals/pesticides. The staff in all areas deserve a raise for always being helpful and attentive while doing it w a smile. Thank you all for a wonderful experience ♥️

The facility is extraordinary! It has 3 beautiful beaches, 3 beautiful pools, and jacuzzis. It feels like I'm in Ibiza. Our third time in Cancun and every time we come, we are totally satisfied with Mexico. The RIU chain in Cancun is excellent! There are only 3 things that should be taken into account (improved). 1- The quality of the coffee at breakfast is terrible. They should buy, import, a better coffee from a nearby Country (Colombia, Peru). Unless you want to import or buy a coffee from Italy. The quality of the coffee at has to be higher according with the RIU tradition and standard! 2- All the restaurants in the resort close too early. Some at 9:30p, others at 9p. That means that they don’t accept more clients after 8p. Unacceptable! 3- Under no circumstances should the Resort allow clients to walk through the main Lobby in swimwear. All clients must transit through the Lobby with at least a t-shirt. Education and Respect for All! Thank you RIU Palace Las Americas Cancun for everything! Best Regards. Danilo Torre & Family

Rooms were clean, maid service very good. Chocolate cake at coffee bar excellent. Coffee is hard to get at breakfast, lines always too long. Room service is very poor, options limited. Dining options limited, strictly Italian buffet lunch 12-4pm and dinner time options from 6-10pm. Any other hours, terrible, low options. Bars typical, not many top shelf options. Will likely not stay here again, good hotel for a basic vacation.
