Pros Very nice hotel , good location excellent buffet Cons there were something wrong with the pipes so i couldn't flush the toilet for 2 days , one night the smoke from the smoke machine from the rouf top party lick into the room , the AC wasn't working for the last night were staying

The property is beautiful! Staff is amazing especially my butler Ricardo. Food was good. Since I purchased the Diamond Club package I wish they told us where we could get the premium liquor on the resort. We didn’t have any water on our 2nd day and part of the 3rd day. I understand things happen but it definitely wasn’t the best experience. Overall I probably would give the resort another shot.

The Royalton Chic Cancún was a nice resort over all. We came the week after Labor Day so I believe a lot of the activities were done the weekend before because there wasn’t much activity offered. The food was average resort food with some stuff better than the other. The rooms are modern but could use a deeper cleaning and the mildew smell was the worse. I got home and my stuff had the mildew smell. Also the restaurants and lobby area was very warm like they didn’t have air in that area and yes I know the doors stay open a lot but I’ve been to other resorts and it didn’t feel like that in those areas even with the doors open. Overall it’s a nice resort for any age located close/walking distance to alot of things. I probably wouldn’t stay again but I would tell others to give it a try.

First walked in the door was good got a glass of champagne we got there earlier than check in so they let us go hang out at the pool. Nice they of course tried to sell the market time share stuff but kept telling them no even though they put me on schedule anyhow I said no, the water pressure was horrible even no water for a whole day. The a/c went out when the water stopped so just living off the fan. Had to wait for elevators every time because they were in and out of order 3 at a time so be prepared to wait. The tv of all things didn’t work unless you pay so basically only porn you get on the tv. The worst of it all was the PAID $200 for Chef’s private dinner….. the food was horrible over cooked lobster and over cooked filet mignon that they put gravy on to make it “better”. Little stuff like the window curtains didn’t close all the way it was broke and some lights didn’t work in the room. No hidden cost at the end other than environmental cost that was like 5 dollars a day no biggie on that but overall it wasn’t worth the money they charge on this resort. If it was cheaper and didn’t have the no water issue it would be better.

Went here for our anniversary, before arriving I told them that but unfortunately they didn't follow through with a banner or anything special, next to us was a room with a banner and a balloon for someone's birthday. The smell of mildew is overwhelming, the place is incredibly hot and humid with no AC except in the rooms. Eating at restaurants felt like you're in a sauna. Elevators took FOREVER every single time. Food is ehh, ridiculous that the only food option until 6 pm is the buffet. The steakhouse was great and so was the Chopsticks Asian cuisine. Most of the food we ate was unsatisfying and even questionable at times with the seafood, so I avoided it. The servers at restaurant were all amazing. The man at the spa was rude when I was trying to figure out what time we wanted to get our massages. Don't even get me started on the people who try to talk to you into the time shares, so incredibly terrible! We said no, and they asked if that would make us "more poor for x amount of money?" Water went out all Wednesday 10/18/24 when it came back on it was brown and smelled, water pressure was terrible for the whole stay. They told us multiple times it'd be on in a few minutes, wanted us to go down to the spa to take a shower. The water went down for other people multiple times!! It didn't feel all inclusive because some places to sit was extra, different food on menu was extra etc. We felt so upset how many things went wrong on this trip, for the money spent, it was not worth
