Loved the beautiful property! Gorgeous views and fun to walk around the forest behind the home! The beds were incredibly comfy as well!

If more than five stars were possible, both property and host would get them. It was a joy working with Michael before, during, and after our rental Very responsive and helpful. The property is jaw dropping beautiful. The rooms are large and well furnished. The rear patio is a great place to relax and listen to the river flow by. Huge kitchen, well stocked. Very clean. Comfortable beds and furniture. Do yourself a favor and rent this property for family or group. Well worth it.

It's an amazing place

This is a beautiful area. Camping in a tent does not work for us anymore and this gives access to the wild with the comfort of home.

This was our second stay. We appreciate the beauty and tranquil setting of the property and the unusual and original design of the house. Alicia quickly responded when we had a little difficulty finding the property, but this was only a small setback. The house is very well equipped for cooking as well as comfort. There is a well-stocked library with some heavy hitters above and beyond the usual John LeCarre novels found in most places we've stayed. We so much appreciated being able to bring our dogs with us and the sunsets were exquisite from the upstairs balcony. We saw a fox and some deer, and on a previous trip, elk. We can't wait to come back.

We stayed at the Abiquiu Lake Mesa Home while attending a three day music festival at Ghost Ranch this month. The setting is as close to absolute zero sound as you will ever get, and the views, well, the picures don't do them justice. The house is well constructed and perfectly maintained, and the owner, Tani, a great communicator. Our stay went without a hitch, and without wishing for anything more. She accimodated our (well mannered) dog, which was essential. The walks out in the mesas were almost spiritual. It's a bit of a drive out there, on a maintained gravel road, and not super close to ghost ranch, but all in all I would not change a thng. The water pressure and tem and bath fixtures were great, after a day a Ghost Ranch. And zooming in to Abiquiu is easy and fast, for a meal or just a look. (Bosshards (amazing stuff, bring your wallet), Bode's (everything you could possibly need) and the Inn at Abiquiu (good food and setting). And it's about an hour from Santa Fe. Highly recommended.
