I booked this hotel as on hotels.com it said it had a deep soak bathtub. This is what sold this room to me. When we got to the hotel, there was a shower in the room. When I asked about the bath I was told that there is only one room in the hotel with a bath and thats on first come first served. I feel like I misold.

Excellent service and we were offered a free upgrade to an Executive suite, which was amazing and gave us lots of space for our family of 4. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful during our stay. When we stay in Cardiff again we will book the same hotel.

Nice hotel No parking

Hotel room itself is excellent but they now no longer have parking facilities (last time I stayed there, there was underground parking for £5-10/day) and you are charged a whopping £30 a day to park at the nearest recommended carpark.

Great location easy reach to all the main areas for shopping and castle just over the road . There was nothing I didn't like . Stayed on first floor in a king room . It had a bath and a separate walk in shower . Room was spacious and had mini fridge which kept drinks cold ! I usually go for dulux room but tbh this had everything event dressing gown and slippers and non entry to executive lounge . I didn't require this as only used the hotel to sleep . Parking is discounted if parking in nearby NCP but I used just park app and saved money in a very local place less then 6 min walk . Also some off street parking only payable until 5pm then again from 8am on a Sunday so worth looking for this if your staying over a weekend . I would recommend this hotel

Very comfortable stay

The rooms were very comfortable, spacious, clean and great. The halls and other parts of the hotel could use an updating. Deborah at the front desk was so kind and helpful! Staff were all wonderful!

Stayed on the 8th of May in room 339 only one lift was working which left lengthy delays.my partner couldn’t walk to another lift due to having a quadruple heart bypass. Half the sockets in the room were not working. No mirror near a plug socket to do my hair pretty poor

Hotel and room were really first class and clearly recently refurbished The only negatives were the pool area which is so run down and tired and there was only one working lift which meant long waits for breakfast and check out
