We really enjoyed our stay & the hotel is in a great location. They should extend the time that the rooftop pool & patio area is open until AFTER sundown. The dining was EXCELLENT...room service, breakfast & dinner offerings. First night we walked to another nearby hotel that had rooftop dining but the food was SO DISAPPOINTING....if we had only known we would have stayed put! We did wonder if it sometimes has water issues as the dining area appeared to have an "open" roof & they were continuously cleaning with bleach & the smell was quite strong at times.

I was about to book a hotel in Bocagranda when the guy on the plane said DONT - stay in the old city...boy am i glad I did. The staff was amazing, learning my name and making sure i had anything i needed. its a beautiful building...its older but they are always working to keep it up to date. I got a room with a balcony and would sit there in the AM and drink tea (had to get hot water from room service, very fast but a little kettle would have been nice.) you cant ask for a better location like there just isnt one. also make sure to eat here - great food options with awesome service....just for fun i took a walk today to see the BIG high end chain in bocagranda...i was going to have lunch but the place had no energy / awful menu so i left and came back to Santa Teresa for my final meal and it was perfect.

The hotel Charleston Santa Teresa was everything that I hoped it would be… a what a Beautiful property, and still being taking care of and maintained on a daily basis... the daily breakfast was excellent, service was impeccable and the staff was extremely attentive and available for every need. I even booked a massage at the spa and although I've had many… This was the best! I only wish that I could remember the massage therapist name, but it started with a Y. My fiancé and I will return!
