Hotels in Castuera

Sorry! As much as we've tried, we haven't been able to track down any places to stay in the heart of Castuera.

However, Magacela is located 25 kilometres away from Castuera. Here you can choose from several places to hit the sack. Look into the Vegas Altas and Hotel Cortijo Santa Cruz.

Don't shoot through before you've had a squiz at the Circo Romano and Roman Theatre in Merida. If you're keen to stay in Merida, look into the Parador de Mérida and CAPITOLIO Apartamentos Turísticos. Alternatively, you could stay in Calamonte, 80 kilometres to the west of Castuera, where you can choose from the Hotel Ilunion Mérida Palace and Hotel & Boutique Spa Adealba. If you're staying in Calamonte, set aside a little time to visit the National Museum of Roman Art and the Temple of Diana.

Sitting 80 kilometres northwest of Castuera is Trujillo, a regional hub with a population of 9,000. It's home to some awesome attractions, like Plaza Mayor, Trujillo Castle and City Walls. Got some more time up your sleeve? Check out the vibe at the Museo de Vino y Queso and Palace of the Dukes of San Carlos. The Parador de Trujillo and Eurostars Palacio Santa Marta are a selection of accommodation options in Trujillo.

That's it! All you've gotta do now is pop on your out-of-office then blow the joint. After all, you've worked hard for a lastminute.com.au getaway to Castuera, right?

Casa Rural la Pajarona
Lovely hotel but no-one around
4 / 5
The hotel itself is fantastic with its patio garden, wonderful sun terrace and lovely rooms but the owners were away for our stay so we had no bar or restaurant, and the swimming pool was covered over. We were let in and told we had to find our own food in the village which is harder than it sounds on a Sunday in Spain. We did find a little shop where we could buy some snacks and cans of drink for the afternoon and we were able to get an evening meal at the only bar which was open and serving later on but that's not the hassle which is welcome after a long day's travel. Had we known there would be no bar or food in the hotel we would not have booked at this time but could only go by what was shown in the Hotels app.
